Inn at Mayo Clinic is NOT the only hotel at Mayo

Posted Jun 3, 2017
Yes, the Inn is actually connected to Mayo Hospital and the various doctor's offices and clinics, but the Courtyard Marriott is in the parking lot and 100% nicer accommodations. This entire experience was bait and switch for me and my wife. They nickel and dime you to death, make you put up a $20 cash deposit for incidentals, and no shortage of geese parading back and forth in front of your window doing what geese do best -- leaving you rivers of goose $hit.

Nice hotel right at Mayo Clinic .

Able to walk to hospital appointments in mere minutes . If you don't want to drive out for dinner a shuttle will take you to the other Marriott on the campus and bring you back .

Convenience

Posted Feb 28, 2017
Pros: See above
Cons: Dining Options
Location: There are lots of things to do within 7 miles of the Hotel
Very convenient if you have appointments at the Clinic. You can access all buildings of the Clinic directly from the Inn through tunnels so that the weather is not a factor.

Our stay at the Inn at Mayo Clinic.

Posted Jan 7, 2017
The location and convenience to the Mayo Clinic is important and this remains a major factor for choosing this hotel. However, the room floor plan and furniture arrangement did not work well. It appeared to be trying to separate areas, but in such close quarters that really does not work very well. For example - the bathroom vanity was outside the bathroom. but the vanity light was placed in a way that shone directly in the face of anyone in the bed. In a place where rest is most important, the constant on & off of the noisy HVAC unit during tour entire stay decidedly interfered with our sleep. Overall the accommodations were just O.K. - not a strong recommendation.

Nice quiet room close to the Jacksonville Beaches.

Posted Dec 29, 2016
Pros: Large room with full kitchen and microwave.
Cons: Mattress was too soft for anyone with a back problem.,
Location: Centrally located for Mayo Clinic on Butler Boulevard.
Couldn't ask for a better hotel. Curteous efficient staff. Only concern is an ultrasoft mattress.
