Beautiful hotel throughout.

Cons: It takes a little longer than it should to have your car brought up, over 5 minutes on some occasions.
Location: Great little historic district. Horseback riding, parasailing, and the beach. Lots of great restaurants.
Excellent staff and services. Always go with the club level room. Best way to go, breakfast, lunch and light dinner served everyday, unlimited drinks, and personal concierge services. Great room with a great view of the beach. 5 star restaurant on-premise was absolutely divine, great way to celebrate a special occasion. Spa services were excellent and timely, started and finished as stated.

Great for beach lovers, rooms somewhat uncomfortab

Our stay at the Ritz was fine. The proximity and access to the beach is key, and the views are beautiful. The hotel itself is very large, and there was always plenty of room at the pool, restaurants, and other areas. We never felt crowded in with other guests which is very appreciated on a family vacation. We've all been on vacations where guests are trying to save seats by the pool or having to search for chairs. Not so at the Ritz. The rooms could stand to be more comfortable. There wasn't much space to unpack and store belongings. The table top space was limited and taken up by the "honor bar" where there are snacks, medicine, etc. that they're trying to sell. Just seems sort of tacky for a Ritz. Same with the refrigerator. There was no room to chill our beverages with the mini bar items. We opened our terrace door to enjoy the view of the ocean and didn't realize that automatically turned off the air conditioner. It's a good idea to conserve energy, but the room can heat up fast, and we ended up having to keep the slider closed most of the stay. All in all, it's a beautiful hotel.
