The Omni Resort is amazing with plenty of recreational activities to enjoy! We stayed in the Villas and the surrounding properties include several pools, golf courses, and trails. The only disappointment was the room itself. Our room was quite small for the price we paid. The TV in the room was extremely small and we never could connect to the Wi-Fi. Luckily, this resort is more about the wonderful outdoor experience so it didn’t matter. Overall, it’s a bit pricey here but the experience is amazing! We will be back, but will probably opt to stay in a different area of the resort.

The establishment was pleasant, although we encountered the need to contact security and await their arrival to unlock the door and grant us access to our room every time we left the room. On several occasions, we found ourselves patiently waiting by the door for a duration of approximately 10 to 15 minutes. Notably, my pregnant wife experienced an incident during our stay. Consequently, upon our departure, we approached the manager and inquired about any potential resolutions or accommodations they could offer us to compensate for the inconvenience. The manager duly recorded our information, yet it has been six days since then, and we have yet to receive any communication or updates regarding our situation.

I loved that we had a private villa with a great view of the ocean and that we were not in a big hotel with people walking up and down the halls. The open architecture of the Villa was Peaceful, unlike the big hotel. We could easily walk through the Sunken Forest to the hotel to work out in the adequate gym. We had privacy we didn’t expect…the beach was quiet and secluded and not crowded

The Omni as a whole is incredible. 1400 acres. Falcons Nest is a nice sports var to visit. The $30 breakfast buffet at the Sunrise cafe is great. The room at Turtle Dunes villas was okay. More like a hotel foom and the bathroom needs wall repairs and a paint job. Access to the beach was very easy. The beach is very nice to walk. Almost easier to walk to the main Omni building via the beach rather than drive. Especially since they carge for parking which is crazy for the price of rooms.

The friendly staff were very helpful during our stay. The shuttle was prompt and took us all over the property. The pool-side burger and French fries were great. The pizzas at Natural Slice were delicious.

Property is definitely dated. The bed are worn out. The shower faucet made this horribly loud screeching noise. Going to the beach with children or a wagon will be extremely difficult because so many stairs. No handicap access for our particular villas

Started out in Court Side Villas and that was not good! Our unit was old and outdated with stained carpeting! I requested to be moved and for an up charge, we were moved to a one bedroom suite which was oceanfront in Sandcastle Villas! It was awesome! Close to main hotel and beach and pools (had to drive from first Villa)!

Great property. Took our 15 year old and loved it. Do much to do and a lot of nature to soak in. Did the segways which were a blast and Kyle was amazing . We also did the house back riding which was memorable. Definitely would make another trip there

Not a fan of the Villas
The main hotel is beautiful but the Villas are disappointing. The front desk was amazing with fixing whatever they could but the villas are not well kept, not serviced,. lower standard appointments and you could maybe do better with the hotel room.

This is a unique property at the northeastern tip of Florida. It doesn't not feel like anywhere else in Florida. The main hotel and facilities are very nice. The villas are spacious, clean and have everything you need. Unfortunately, some thing was terribly wrong with the climate control a/c in our unit. It smelled very musty and all surfaces felt damp. The creamer left by the coffee had turned into paste and none of our towels dried. We both had sore throats when we left and sincerely hope that we weren't breathing black mold all weekend. Also little things need more upkeep -- the toilet kept running and the sliding door was stuck shut. I definitely expected more for an Omni property and for the price.

Just Wonderful
The Villas of Amelia Island is a spectacular place to stay. The resort is immaculate. The rooms are spacious and updated. My room in the Sandcastles 2 Villa had a balcony with a beautiful ocean view (in fact, I think all rooms above ground level have a balcony with an ocean view). My room had a kitchen with a full refrigerator, oven, microwave, 4-slice toaster, and coffee maker (it was a regular coffee maker, not a Keurig). The living room had a couch (with a bed) and two chairs. My room had a table for 4. We had a TV in the living room and also in the bedroom. The beds were super comfortable. The shower head was high enough for those above 5'5'' and the water pressure was strong.

So much better than expected
This was our first stay at the Omni Villas at Amelia. We were so pleasantly surprised by the resort. It was incredibly beautiful and the villa was gorgeous. It was decorated very tastefully and was quiet and comfortable. Our suite had a full kitchen, table for six, bar stools for two, a couch which held a pull out bed, and two swivel chairs. The shower head was high enough that we did not have to bend down to wash our hair and the water pressure was perfect. The balcony offered a great view and enough space for four to comfortably sit. We will definitely return for another stay.

We stayed while traveling back home. The electric outlet didn’t work which is odd and unsafe. We realized because cable in the room did t work. There was not my hair on the bed when I open the covers for the first time, and the shower release was broken to turn the shower on we had to pull the spigot. Staff was GREAT and super friendly. Location was beautiful on the beach and lots of things to do. Food at a nice restaurant wasn’t very good, but was expensive. Would t do that again!
