Pros: Room cleanliness and the quality of the linen
Cons: It would be good if the hotel had an elevator
Location: The approach to the hotel is not the greatest
We stayed for one night. Though the approach to the hotel is not the greatest but the hotel room was clean and well maintained. The washrooms were clean . The staff was very cortious I think the only down side of this hotel is that it does not have elevator

Pros: Home like feel...courteous staff.....traditional decor
We stayed for a night to experience the stay which was highly praised by fellow travelers on various travel sites. The rooms very small and basic, but very tastefully and traditionally done. The staff was very courteous. The hotel is very close to the fort and the market area. The traditional rajasthani food was delicious. Would highly recommend this place for everyone visiting Jaislamer. They also made very good arrangements for our travel to the Khuri dunes....

The hotel is built from sandstone in the traditional haveli style. Lovely room design and a great view of Jaisalmer Fort from the roof terrace. The hotel is excellent value for money, as is the restaurant. Food is of good quality and is all cooked from scratch. We even had a cookery lesson in the kitchen. The hotel is away from the busy centre, but is an easy walk or just a 50p tuk-tuk ride. They organised a camel safari for us at reasonable cost and we had a free pick-up from the station. The staff are excellent. They take pride in the hotel and genuinely want to do well.

Pros: Personal attention and care provided by the owner
Cons: Nothing
Location: Located in residential area not veryfar from the main town, cost only 50 rupee to get into town, located bery close to the lake.
We stayed in Hotel Fifu for 3 nights but wish it it had been longer! Set out side the main town in a peaceful residential area, we enjoyed the silence and beauty of the area a rare treat in India. It only cost 50 rupees to get into the walled city of Jaislemer a minor cost for the benefit of being in such a peaceful area not far from the lake. The hotel owner Fifu gave such personal attention to make sure we enjoyed our stay in his hotel.

Hotel with a superb view of the Jaisalmer Fort

Pros: Location, warmth and hospitality of the owner, Mr Om.He also advised us on the places to see, how to plan the visits and where to shop.
Cons: Super Hotel.Couldn't be better.
Location: Visit the Jaisalmer Fort, Sam Dunes, Ludhrava excavation and Jain temple, Kuldhara spooky village and the Khaba Fort
The hotel built is just off the main road and is ideally located away from the bustle of the city. The personal attentiveness to detail by Mr Om and his son Anirudh during our stay from 01 to 03 Jan 14 made it even more memorable. The Room No 108 on the second floor is undoubtedly the best suite and had two rooms with a view of the fort from all windows. The rooms were done up tastefully in rajasthani style and was cozy and warm. The sheets were clean and Mr Om made our family comfortable with extra blankets and pillows, since it was exceptionally cold. The bathroom is small but modern with running hot and cold water, toiletries and clean towels and it was more than adequate for us.The Hotel has a veg restaurant on the top floor with breathtaking views of the jaiselmer fort and the food is simple and delicious. We tried the ker sangri and rotis. The continental breakfast included with the room tariff is excellent and recommended with masala chai!

Pros: hotel staff, comfort, food
Cons: should be having some curtain/chik at roof top
Its a nice hotel, close to Fort (approx 15 min walk or auto can be arranged by hotel charges 40 Rs). They are very good at hospitality and created homely environment, I stayed there for 2 nights and found few of the instances like, conditioner was not there in my room and they don't even provide, I asked them and they immediately bought it from outside (dove Conditioner) and give it to me. this was very prompt and I have not seen this in other hotel. Pros: 1.Great Staff, very helpful to you, 2. washrooms and rooms are clean and Decent, 3. great view of fort from rooftop 4. Restaurant food is very delicious. better than Desert bytes and many other restaurant which are very famous in town. Cons: 1. Hotel is not very big, its a small property having few rooms, but doesn't matter much as most of the people and autowala knows this property. 2. Restaurant is on rooftop and quite good , but need to be very careful with children as fences are too low. there should be option of some curtain so that in the night cool wind can be stopped.

Pros: Nothing much to say - everything was great. The owner/manager was very involved in ensuring that guests were comfortable & satisfied.
Cons: The young guys serving in the restaurant may need a bit of training in customer service.
Location: The hotel is outside the fort which is a good thing. Nothing to do nearby. Have to drive to go to the fort but that's no problem at all.
