Where should i start, heating too low, rooms very small, dirty hotel with big insects appearing on the towels, and small ants, kind of well located but dirtiness makes it horrible, and the tiny room is bad too. This is one of the hotels i sadly won't stay in again. Elevator weird works in different directions often. Hard to find this hotel also. Wofi too slow

Breakfast is quite delicious but best part is location. It’s right above Thamrin City for Jakarta’s best Muslim/Muslimah apparel both selection and prices. But do request for rooms with views otherwise you may end up in a dark and dinghy room with no view, like me. Very depressing. Bathroom needs upgrading. They really should “up their game” especially since there are other hotels just a stone’s throw away offering newer bigger and cleaner more pleasant rooms - at same or cheaper rates.

hotel room is quite old room 622 maybe already more than 15 yrs need repainting on the walls.. the kiblat direction of mecca was vandalised erased. the ceiling top in this room can hear lots of rats running around especially at nite...

i have stayed here for more than 5 times over the years. What I like the most about the hotel is simply on the location as it's easier for me to do the shopping around Thamrin City and Tanah Abang. Restaurants are nearby too.

Kamar sangat sempiiit, bahkan sulit jika 2 org berpapasan. Tempat tidur berbunyi. Makanan tidak enak & asal2an, menu terbatas, tidak ada susu ataupun omelet, downgrade bgt dari terakhir saya kesana. Bahkan hari kedua saya menginap disni, satu-satunya makanan yang berprotein hanyalah telur bulet, tidak ada ayam, ikan apalagi daging. Lift jorok dan bau. Satu-satunya penyelamat hotel ini hanyalah LOKASI, jika tdk berada di lokasi yang strategis, saya yakin udah lama tutup ini hotel! Overall, menginap di Amaris Thamrin City tidak sebanding dengan harga, not worthed!

The location is great right in the city centre. it is on the same building with the mall and the mall is closed at 6 PM so it is not recommend for late check in after 9 PM because the loby is hard to find.

Very convenient for shoppers.The room condition is reasonably comfortable and clean.I am happy but my only regret is the room lights are too dim, gloomy & was difficult to put on my make up.Also, the cold water tap at the sink was out of order

GREAT BUDGET HOTEL
a very good budget hotel indeed. This has been my 8th times staying here. The room is very clean and the bed comfortable. Hotel is located inside the shopping mall (6th floor) and very convenient indeed. Check-in and check-out very prompt and fast. All room rates include breakfast - mostly local food and not bad for a 2.5* hotel. If you are looking for just a room to sleep and most of the time out shopping... then this is the hotel for you. Not suitable for kids as the Hotel do not have a swimming pool or kids playroom. No gym, no frills, no mini bar or coffee/tea in room. But there is a hot water dispenser outside the rooms on every floor.

The ideal Hotel for travellers visiting Jakarta
This is a fantastic hotel in terms of location, faciltites and service. We had a great time staying at this hotel as the staff ahd made us felt welcome. The only flaws were the sink faucet in the bathroom for cold water was not working and the single bed nearer to the safety box had sunken. Maybe to add a few more varieties in the room service menu (by the way, the room service food was great and tasty) and maybe to add or change new items for the breakfast spread.Will definitely recommend to family and friends to stay at this hotel.

1st timer in jakarta
The hotel is just in the tharmin city mall, good for shopping lovers. It will be nice if the hotel does have some weighing scale to weigh for luggage. The hotel is comfortable for basic stay although there is a bit rundown (the toilet door is spoilt unable to close it, variety food for breakfast is quite limited). Requested for extra pillows from hotel counters for 2 days but the request never come true. Change of WIFI password on 2nd day was not informed by the hotel counters until we asked then about access wifi issue.

Great Short Getaway!
Enjoyed my stay very much. Very conveniently located if shopping is your main objective. Just shop, drop your shopping bags in your room and off you go downstairs to Thamrin City to shop again! Just across the road is another shopping centre: Grand Indonesia Mall. Staff were very helpful and always pleasant. Kudos to your staff! You have made me so happy that I will definitely recommend this hotel.

Though low in "STAR"... the hotel wins on location
In the past when travelling to Jakarta, I stayed in more expensive hotels. But .. everywhere I wanted to go, I need to take the taxi and faced the Jakarta jams. Amaris Thamrincity is so simple, with nothing to boast with regards high-class amenities. Though located on the 6th. FLOOR of a shopping mall, with small rooms, and mere basic facilities... it is in the centre of everything I want. Very convenient to people like me who value time, convenience and NOT "the hotel stars" Been here many times.
