Amazing Service!
I can’t not express into words how much I loved our stay at this hotel. The staff were absolutely incredible! We had issues with our flight and my husband got a bit of heat stroke and they went above and beyond to help us with both situations. They responded to my WhatsApp messages so fast and were always willing to help out. If you are remotely thinking about booking a room please do. The rooms are lovely, the staff just make it an incredible experience. I highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again in a heart beat.

A Great place for solo, family with kids, couples
This was my second time to stay at this hotel in Jakarta. The location of this hotel is excellent if you are taking Gambir station. It is about 10 minutes and it is not expensive to take a Bluebird taxi (around Rp40,000) from and to this hotel. One of the biggest malls in Jakarta, Plaza Indonesia and Grand Indonesia is about 5-7 min by car. You will like this hotel if you enjoy old decor and style. There are many cheap thin-wall hotels in Jakarta. You will NOT enjoy the loud noise of the Islam prayer call (4 a.m.). You will not have a noise problem at this hotel and have a restful night.

I usually stay here when in Jakarta a few times a year, overall a very good place to stay. Excellent staff and rooms are comfortable and very clean. My only two issues on this stay was my room was very warm and maintenance did not seem to have a solution after two attempts fix the ac. Secondly, I found that several items at breakfast had sat too long under heat and were dried out.

So-so stay. No peaceful sleep though
Big hotel but sound proofing is poor as I can eat people on the hallway and the next door rooms. I could also hear kids in the swimming pool as our room was facing the pool. People were also smoking in their rooms and it could be smelled in our room. Breakfast was not really worth it.

What was my usual go to hotel whenever im in jakarta is a total disappointment this time around. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Its in need of a total makeover. Dated in every sense. Service is lacklustre. Breakfast is better off ordered via grabfood every morning.

The bed was comfy, good shower pressure and good location. The place is very run down and most of what I reported was not fixed or cleaned - mould in fridge was cleaned but fridge was broken, curtains didn't fully close, tv broke, bathroom wasn't clean, water wasn't refilled every day. The room service over charged me and food quality wasn't very good including warm white wine. I stopped trusting concierge and booked all my own transport after they messed up a booking. I wouldn't stay there again.

Old Skool Charm
Honest review, we did enjoy our stay but this hotel is an old hotel. There is nothing much that can be done but a renovation of the property. Location is actually quite well situated to the happening thamrin shopping district but far enough to be away from the bustle. Whatever the hotel lacks in quality the staff more than make up with hospitality. Extremely friendly and great service. If you don't have a hang up of high tech modern/futuristic hotel, you will get a great old skool nostalgic charm.

The hotel is strategically located within the Tanah Abang area. If you are at Pasar Tanah Abang and could not get a Grab/Gojek ride, you can simply walk back to the hotel, which I reckon to be faster. I reached the hotel early, and while waiting for my room to be ready, I was served with a welcome drink by the affable staff, who also helped to expedite my check-in. The hotel staff are very generous with their greetings, be it at the reception area, restaurant and even along the walkway to the hotel room. It took me less than an hour to reach the hotel from the airport. The staff readily assisted to convert my breakfast to sahur (pre-dawn) meal for Ramadhan. For that, I am forever grateful to them. Will return back to this hotel during my next visit.

Great value for money. Bed was very clean and comfy and helpful/friendly staff. Good location although Jakarta is very spread out so depends what you want to be close to. This is a close walk to national museum and Monument as well as some good restaurants. Only issue for us was the bathroom felt a little dirty. A new shower curtain would have went a long way!

This hotel is good value for money. The bed is very clean and comfy and the room is large. The bathroom could be cleaner and unfortunately we were woken up at 4:30 each morning from the prayers happening at a nearby mosque. Overall we enjoyed our stay here and the staff were very friendly.
