So calming listening to the birds and roosters, relaxing in my beautiful room, and befriending the owner, Juanita, and her dedicated staff, Crystal, Lucy, and Mikey while enjoying meals and drinks in the friendly restaurant and bar areas. This is the only truly Bahamian hotel experience on Harbour Island and has been owned by the same family for decades! I’m not interested in corporate operated resorts, but prefer the warm welcome I receive every time I walk in the door during my stay! Lots of laughs and good conversation with everyone at Tingum! Miss you until next year!! "

"Perfect location for exploring the island north to south. Just right for my wife and I and our two sons. Pool and upstairs deck added bonus. Beach towels and chairs also a nice touch. Highly recommend if looking for clean space to launch day trips from. "

"The pool furniture was in disrepair and everything at the resort looked like it was very old/falling apart. The upstairs bedroom was carpeted and the carpet is very old and smelly and musty. The bedding was very old and the furniture was also very worn/old. The supplies in the kitchen looked like they were found at a garage sale. For the very high price tag I would not stay there again unless the whole place got a refresh. "

"I can’t say enough good things about this property. It’s in a beautiful location on the Atlantic Ocean. The property was very clean and the staff were amazing. Anything we needed they were there. They got a car for us, told us about some good places to go and the food was incredible. We will definitely be back!"
