    4/5 Good

    Great location, superb outdoor space.

Perfect rustic experience on Rock River. Hot tub is great, the fire pit is awesome to spend some fun time grilling s’mores and hanging out. The house is big, darts and fussball are excellent to pass time. The amenities are clean and in good shape, but nothing luxurious. Mattresses are of mid-level comfort. The house has everything you need, but don’t set your bar extremely high. Make sure to clean the place very well on check out: put away all the clean dishes, wipe down all the surfaces, get all the trash out. The owners are very responsive and helpful.

    Dated and Malfunctioning

The décor is very dated, found out day of arrival second bathroom malfunctioning (no shower). Most beds were very uncomfortable (old in need of new mattresses). Found using an air mattress on top made them bearable. Location was great, loved the rustic feel of the property. Owner very accommodating.

    Relaxing and fun home

We had a great time at this property. The home was very well-stocked and had just about everything you could ask for. Quiet country road, but close to lots of stores and restaurants. Very relaxing and rustic.

    5/5 Excellent

    Great Location

We were very happy with our accommodations and the house. The hot tub is awesome!! The owners were very nice and easy to deal with.

    5/5 Excellent

A wonderful place to unwind and relax!

The time we spent at the retreat was wonderful. The the first nights dinner, and breakfast, (a locally made apple fritter) for the next day as well as plenty of coffee, were provided for us by the homes owner. The homes owner called to check on us and was available for questions. The deck was peaceful and refreshing. There was plenty of wildlife around us. The entire family had a wonderful time and continue to talk about it. The river was beautiful. We caught plenty of catfish. We also caught blue fin and bass. Shopping is very close by. Would highly recommend! Will definitely stay there again!
