Well, it was an enclosed room

Posted Jan 5, 2017
I'll start by saying the check in went OK, not much by way of 'thanks for coming, etc' but she did get us checked in and told me where to park. The room was OK. The bed was hard as a rock, there was trash under the bed, peeling paint in some places. The tv worked as well as the wifi so that was good. After a restless night we went to get some breakfast. There were 2 tables in the food room, 1 in the lobby. When we came in the Lady was yelling at some people that they could not take any food to the room. There was a sign stating such but with hardly any room to sit what are you left to do?! Anyway, I fixed me a waffle which was OK, the wife had hard biscuits and gravy. There was only a couple biscuits left so we asked for more after waiting for the Lady to get off of a personal phone call. . Yeah, it was only 60$ but I think we'll head down the road and pay more next time...

Regular travel stop hotel when we travel

Posted Dec 2, 2016
We stay at the Super 8 in Jasper every time we travel from Georgia to Arkansas (and back). Since we normally get to the property so late and leave so early, we don't need a typical 4-5 star hotel with amenities we can't enjoy. This hotel is perfect to stay while traveling through. The rooms are clean. Updated TV and rooms. Large enough for a family. Staff is always friendly. Breakfast is adequate and typical (but very good). I've never had any encounters with any sketchy people while there and have always felt safe.

Excellent room for the price!

Posted Dec 1, 2016
Pros: Clean, great wifi, hot breakfast
Cons: Nothing-great as is
Location: Right off hwy 78, about half an hour from Birmingham.
This is no five star hotel... But who'd want to pay for that? The bed was comfy, The room was clean, the bathroom was spotless, the bedding was freshly washed. No issues with the wifi, connected just fine. Breakfast was great, and included eggs, waffles, and biscuits & gravy. All 3 staff I spoke with were friendly and welcoming. Will book again next time I'm in town!

Had a fine experience while here for work. Nothing spectacular, but no issues, either.
