Nice and clean

We were very pleased with the hotel and would definitely stay there again. The only thing that we were not happy about was the breakfast. It’s very minimal and we ended up going out and pay for breakfast elsewhere every day we stayed there. Basically toast and cereal...

We try to maintain healthy and fast choices for our customers to start their day off right, despite the fact that we do not have, properly speaking, a kitchen allowing us to offer more variety to satisfy the tastes of each one . Great stay & my top hotel choice for the value :)

Pros: It's really clean and I like that the tub is a deep soak tub meant for relaxing :) It's not a kid friendly hotel which means its quiet for a getaway!
Cons: I do wish they had nicer, softer towels. Theirs are quite rough and we only got two in the room which was not enough.
Location: Quebec city is just a short 15 minute drive away!
I've stayed at the other Grand Times location right outside of Quebec City and enjoyed my stay so much I tried to book again & got this location this time around. We booked the executive king suite and it looked almost 100% the same as the other location, which I find comforting because it was what we were hoping for. Check in was super easy and quick. We got our room on the 5th floor (building is 5 floors high) and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room itself was great. It's really clean and spacious. The dark lighting helps you relax, but also can be a bit annoying when you're trying to unpack or do anything that requires a light. The beds are very comfy and best of all, CLEAN! No spots, no stains...just fluffy and white. They've got a deep soak bath-tub which is a big plus!! The bathrooms themselves are quite large as well. What I love is that the bathtub is at the opposite side of the toilet rather than right next to it. They've got continental breakfast which is complimentary with your stay. I usually toasted a bagel. Half spread with cream cheese, the other half I'd spread with peanut butter and jam. Best of both worlds :) They usually have some fresh fruits and cereal/ oatmeals to choose from. And the tea/coffee station is available all day! The power went out in a light rain shower, so it was much darker than normal. Took a few hours to get the power back.

a bit disappointing

Pros: It's look and it was quiet.
Cons: cleanliness (dust and smell), efficiency of the equipment (AC, TV, room key)
Location: Lots of things to do. We went shopping, visiting Vieux Québec, chutes Montmorency, I Saute, Galeries de la Capitale and good restaurants.
The staff was ok and breakfast was good. Unfortunately, we were disappointed by the lack of cleanliness in our room. The night tables were really dusty. It smelled like old dusty carpet in our room. It was hard to control the level of humidity, even with the AC on. The room was not really comfortable. Also, the TV was not working properly... we couldn't really watch it. Our key was not working half of the time, even after we had it reset. Overall, we were not satisfied by our experience in this Hotel and we will not go back.

Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused by the condition of the room assigned to you during this stay. We can understand your dissatisfaction because at first glance it seems that the attendant who had to clean this room seems to have forgotten to do so. Every effort is made to ensure that our rooms are clean and that all items are there when you arrive. Unfortunately, sometimes our high standards are not maintained. This subject will be reviewed with the housekeeper and her staff and I will make sure to follow up with the senior management of the housekeeping company that is contracted with us to ensure that our standard of cleanliness in our establishments is maintained. We understand that you will not be coming to our facilities based on his last experience. We are sorry that our accommodations or service did not meet his / her expectations, especially since we take great pride in our Hotel and our client services 24/7. Once again thank you for your valuable comments.
