Hotel was well remodeled and up to date.

Posted May 31, 2017
Pros: This was a good location for activity in Jefferson, New River area, and Blue Ridge Parkway.
Days Inn Jefferson is a vintage motel but very comfortable and very well remodeled with up to date fixtures, furnishings, and linens. Complimentary breakfast was good but not fancy.

Cheap and clean

Posted May 22, 2017
Pros: Cheap
Cons: room was a little musky
Location: Hiking at grayson highlands state park
Arrived late and service was ok. Room a little musky and outdated but room was clean. It was a $60 room. Ok for me just for a night with my grandson on a hiking trip. I would stay again.

Good location

Only downside is the bathroom too small. Great kocation for where we want to go. Nearby good restaurant and fastfoods. Grocery store within walking distance.

In Jefferson NC. Very minimal.

Posted May 11, 2017
Pros: It was there.
Cons: A better breakfast in buffet style with healthy items like yogurt, fresh fruits, and oatmeal.
It’s a bed. Period. When the heat was turned on I immediately got congested. Filter replacements lacking? Bathroom light harsh and loud fan that could not be turned off because it was in synch with the light. May sound trivial but it made the bathroom uncomfortable. No hot water in the bathroom sink first evening after letting it run for over 5 minutes! Complained and found there was hot water sooner the next night. Breakfast offerings bleak. What was out was white and pasty looking. No buffet. Waitresses for ordering most items. A very poor display for breakfast. No fresh fruits or juices.

2 Star hotel; 1/2 star breakfast

Posted May 8, 2017
Pros: Not much.
Cons: Breakfast.
There are not a lot of hotel choices in the Jefferson/W. Jefferson NC area. This is an old motel that was likely repurposed into a Days Inn. The rooms were small, but adequate. I was there more than one night. The room was cleaned daily. My biggest complaint was the breakfast. This was the worst breakfast I had ever had a night days in. It was not a buffet. You were given a voucher that listed 2 menu choice. The first morning I ordered scrambled eggs, sausage and a biscuit. I was served a measly portion of eggs, one 1 1/2" sausage and biscuit. There was no juice. There was coffee. Everything was cheap. The second morning wasn't much different. Oh yes, there was barely lukewarm water available for a shower the second morning. If I was back in the area, I would seek out a different option.

I stayed one night to visit some friends and the motel exceeded my expectations. Very nice bed, bedding and lots of amenities.

Great Stay for the Price

Posted Jan 30, 2017 on Hotels
Great staff and very courteous. The accommodations were not luxurious, but we did not expect it at this price. Was very nice for the price. The only concern was that the box for the satellite TV was behind the bureau and you had to stand at the TV to change channels. Not very convenient for watching TV in bed.

Every thing was good the only thing was that it took a few min to get hot water to the room.

The Worst Experience Ever!

Posted Nov 28, 2016
Pros: Nothing!
Cons: Housekeeping would be nice. Friendlier staff.
Location: Spent the day horseback riding in Banner Elk and shopping in Blowing Rock... Great dinner at Boonedocks in West Jefferson and Mellow Mushroom in Boone
Upon arrival, the room was a bit disappointing (Hair in sink and on countertop.) We registered FOUR guests; there was ONE towel and wash cloth. I requested more towels and was told housekeeping would bring them. Hours later, still no towels; I had to go get them. Hot water was nonexistent after 2 showers. Heater was extremely loud. Breakfast staff was AWFUL; she acted as if we were an inconvenience... we were the only people there the first day. The second day, she took forever, waited on other tables that arrived after us, but at least she was rude to everyone! After being gone the entire day, we came back to an unkempt room! Beds unmade, no clean towels, trashcans still full...

I'm sorry you had a bad experience. We thank you for staying with us. We had a housekeeper out sick which caused the housekeeping issues. We are sorry for that. We do hope you'll return in the future.
