STAY AWAY!

The hotel towels are the size of wash cloths & have the feeling of sandpaper. The key system is outdated & the whole hotel smells like my Great Aunt's home. It was disgustingly dirty & the service was poor. The staff tried to charge me even though I had pre-paid through Hotels.com - said that I only booked for adults & not the kids event when I showed her my confirmation for four. Please heed my warning - do not stay here.

Nice enough place, but....

When we showed up to the hotel the front desk claimed to not have a record of our reservation and that they don't do business with Hotels.com anymore. I'm not sure what was going on with them, but I was too tired to call Hotels.com and straighten things out at that moment. I went ahead and bought a room. The room was clean as was the hotel. The shower was surprisingly clean and functional for a hotel that is as tired as this one. The hotel is not a dump, but it is tired and in need of upgrades like new mattresses and carpet and towels and sheets. It's just that time. The included breakfast is simple and served in the lobby instead of a room off the lobby, which makes for an awkward breakfast. I was able to get a refund from Hotels.com, but still don't know what happened to my reservation. By them not honoring my reservation I have a funky feel for the place and am not staying there again.
