Internet did not work properly. Water in swimming pool was really too cold to swim in. Some of the electrical outlets in the room did not work. Staff was very helpful in getting an error in the room scheduling corrected.

The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfadt were good. The room was nice with just some minor cosmetic issues.

I traveled quite far to get to the hotel and to meet customers in the lobby. Upon arriving, there was an issue with the computer and getting a room key. I had reservations through Expedia already but could not secure the room with this. The person at the counter finally managed to get me checked in as a newly walk in. Also the internet was not functional. I was here on business and meeting clients but checking in took over 20 mins and then no internet. This was a "not good" experience. I'm still working in the area, but checking out today and will go to another hotel.

I sincerely apologize for your experience. We are very short staffed at the moment, and you were checked in by our new trainee. She is going to be an amazing desk clerk, but she's still learning. We are working very hard to hire the right people to do the job.

When we checked in it said we got the last room. My husband had trouble with our keys and had to go back to the front to get the keys reset cause we couldn’t get in our room. At 5am someone knocked and came in our room. When we hollered they immediately left. We heard them knock on a couple of other doors a few minutes later. The next morning we went to breakfast and 2 employees were behind us. The male employee said, “The late arrivals have arrived.” Breakfast lasted another 1 1/2hrs. Then he proceeded to reach over me as I was trying to get my food, saying he was checking to see how much food there was. There was only me and my husband in line. Also, the coffee was cold, when breakfast still had another hour and a half to go. When my husband went to ask about someone coming in at 5am, the man that reached over me and also made the statement about us being late arrivals said he did. He had booked our room for someone else, even though we had already booked it, and he was the one who helped my husband reset the keys to that room. He offered no apology or anything at that time. We would never stay there again.

We have stayed many times at this Hampton previous stays were great. This stay iffy, upon arrival desk clerk had to go check the room to see if it was cleaned. We had requested a ground floor since my husband is on oxygen 24/7. There was NO shade of lights at head of bed,so you could not use them. To bright in your face. the air conditioner was iffy,did not take out humidity. the electrical receptacle in bath did not work. Couldn't plug in night light. I do not know what happened since our stay in the same room in December 2023 on our way to North Carolina for Christmas. The room was great. Hopefully they can get this problem resolved since this is a great location.

Check in as lengthy and disorganized. First room wasn’t cleaned at all. Second room had a poorly draining sink. Pool was filled with yellow water, couldn’t even see the bottom.

I had called the day before my stay to confirm the reservation and request late arrival since we would check in after a local concert. When I arrived the Hampton had canceled my reservation and gave my room away with no attempt to contact me. Apparently the hotel was sold out. I guess Hampton makes more money if a room is booked outside of Expedia So they cancel your room at will! They kept saying it was Expedia’s fault. I disagree this was ALL on Hampton. As a Hilton honors member. After this experience I am done with them. If you can’t trust that your reservation is safe then it’s time to find a hotel that you can.

Property was convenient to the Robert Centre for the three day bluegrass festival. It was clean, modern and comfortable. Steven took excellent care of us! I would not hesitate to book again at this hotel. It was a very enjoyable trip.

The staff was very friendly. Our room was not clean. We don't mind a dated decor, but it does need to be cleaned. The floor we were on was so stinky in the hallway. This may sound petty, but there was only one half used toilet paper roll in the bathroom. The last things are that the entry door on the side of the hotel did not latch which means it did not lock. The room did not have a safety latch on the door
