We had a nice room - cozy and comfortable, the bed was good, Everything was clean. The old city is 15 minutes on foot. The hotel has a big parking lot, but it not free. The staff was pleasant and helpful.

Rooms In need of an update
The rooms are in need of major refurbishment, at least the one i was in. The customer lift was broken, they did however let me use the service lift. The towels had a strange smell to them. I cannot speak for the food etc but from what I briefly saw, the restaurant looked good.

Nice hotel with friendly & helpful staff. Stayed in 3 Mercure hotels in Poland and while appreciating the need to save power, Mercure's minibar fridges seem set to room temperature.

This hotel has older style rooms that are a bit worse for wear. However, the prices are reasonable so you get what you pay for. All other aspects are satisfactory.

Hotel needs major upgrade. Exterior is not well maintained. Rooms have no air conditioning and are outdated.

I'd stay again
Comfortable room, very warm (winter time). Spacious bathroom, shower ok. Kettle and fridge in the room. Swimming pool very good (15m long), towels could smell better. You can rent bathrobes for 10zl each. Great breakfast, including pure honey, 100% maple syrup and amazing hams. Selection of meats, salads, eggs, fish, cereals, porridge, cheese, yoghurt... Enjoyed every day of my stay and would stay here again if I'm in the area.

80% of the staff was rude and unhelpful and was clear to see we was treated differently because we was English. Most of the time my wife stayed in the room due to feeling so uncomfortable even my 13 year old daughter noticed.

Very good amenities. The room was a decent size with two beds and nice and clean. My only complaint would be due to lack of air conditioning but this is common.

Great 2-night stay in Jelenia Góra.
Everything was better than you would expect of 3-star hotel. The location was perfect, close to everything but in the quiet part of town. The room could use a bit of upgrading but it was clean and comfortable. The lobby was very welcoming and renovated, as well as the lobby bar and the restaurant. The staff was extremely helpful and very professional. I highly recommend it.

A great value Hotel in Jelenia Gora.
The Mercure is an older hotel but in generally very good condition and is within easy walking distance from the centre of Jelenia Gora for those guests who are reasonably mobile. It is in a great position for exploring this beautiful area of Poland. We enjoyed using the heated pool and sauna which was free for guests. The hotel have a secure parking area which comes at an extra charge per night. We did not want to park in the secure area but because the unsecured parking area is not large we had to pay for 2 nights parking out of the 6 nights we stayed because there was no spaces available.. it would have been three, but one night we parked in the street near the hotel. The Mercure gets busy at weekends with events taking place at the hotel... no noise problems but difficult to park for free with people parking for hotel events.

The hotel has a good ratio quality -price but air conditining could be an advantage in real hot days. Large parking so it is good if you have the car. People nice and helpful although not all people speak english. But generally a very good stay.

Good and inexpensieve hotel in the middle of nowhere
Good overall, we booked it for NY with just amazing value. Was packed with elderly people, must be some sort of holiday destination for them. 20 km to ski resort, however better one on the Czech side - Harrachov. Sauna is ok, I woudn't go to pool though, some guest are completely nuts - one man was bathing his little baby IN DIAPERS, that took those off and SQUEEZED water back into pool... Great breakfast, although was not included into price. Free wifi. Free parking. Recommended.

A nice hotel
A beautiful surrounding and not far from the old town. We had dinner at the hotel which was ok. Breakfast was good. Despite the heating was shot down it was still very warm in the room, so we had to sleep with the window open. But all in all a very nice hotel.

Obiekt czysty. Miła i pomocna obsługa. W lobby hotelowym przygotowany kącik gier i zabaw dla dzieci i rodziców. Mojej córeczce najbardziej podobał się domek dla lalek i możliwość bawienia się z innymi dziećmi gości hotelowych, mnie stół do półkrzyków natomiast żonie różnego rodzaju puzzle. W basenie ciepła woda :). Basen dostępny w dużych dogodnych przedziałach czasowych, także z rana przed lub po śniadaniu a jeszcze przed wymeldowaniem można z niego skorzystać. Śniadanie dobre z wystarczającą ilością różnych rzeczy, no może przydałoby się więcej różnych owoców. Obsługa szybko reagowała przy sprzątaniu stolików i pustych talerzy. Ogólnie cena/jakość dobra. Następnym razem też się zatrzymamy w tym hotelu.
