Worst place I have ever stayed.

Pros: Nothing.
Cons: Lots. Cleaning, remove the mirrors, smoking smells.
There were flying bugs in the room, the trash was not empty when we entered the room. There were mirrors all over the ceiling and walls with fingerprints. Dust was covering the light and the room smelled terribly of smoke with air fresher trying to cover it. Overall, a very poor experience. Would sleep in my car before returning to this place.

I was turned away at check in.

Pros: I was discriminated against upon arrival.
I can't rate this hotel because upon arrival I was turned away by Joshua Muhammad the gentlemen behind the check in window (No name tag). I entered the office ID and reservation number in hand, the gentlemen behind the window was uneasy during checking me in when asked if I had a reservation I pulled up the email and submitted all necessary documentation. I was told he didn't have double beds I said that's fine he then requested the card on file my mother paid for the hotel online he then told me that I needed the card on file in order to check-in which was quite strange considering I worked in the hotel field and most hotels/motels only require a card for incidentals when the room is pre-paid. I was told I could not check in I then suggested paying with my card he told me no other rooms were available his disposition toward me was uneasy the moment I walked in the building. I was in federal court all day to now be turned away at a hotel at 1 in the morning was unsettling for me. I requested to speak to a manager he got loud and began to speak very aggressive toward me he stated that "You people always cause trouble". In 2015 to have to be subject to this type of treatment when you're paying for a service is heartbreaking. I was under stress now to be without shelter in New York and to be verbally chastised for wanting to check into a room already paid for was a huge inconvenience and to be discriminated against was not something I expected but nonetheless was the reality.

The Ritz....not!!!

The room was dirty,,,,the carpet had stains from the refrigerator that Had been unplugged, the guest in the room next door stayed up all night, it was Belmont Stakes weekend, did not have to many other choices.....
