Great place to stay with pets

Pros: Convenient to transportation. Has a kitchenette, comfortable bed.
Location: Convenient to Path and ferries to NY. Lots of new restaurnats with in a fifteen minute walk.
Rooms are clean and compfortable. Staff is friendly and professional. I stayed with my dog and they easily accommodated my request to have a room away from the elevator.

Great Beds

Pros: The Beds.
Cons: Updated Gym Equipment.
Location: Great View of NYC. Nice walking path on Hudson nearby. Very close to NJ Transit .
The Beds were fantastic. Slept right through the night. Nice Kitchen and decent size hotel for the area. Only downside is not having some sort of dining facility.

Great stay. Very friendly staff at the front desk! Never have to complain about anything when I stay here.

My credit card was charged multiple times for some reason. The bank alerted it as potential fraud and cancelled my card.

I apologize that your card was charged multiple times. If you used a credit card the bank sees authorizations as a charge and will put the money from your bank. It does take 7-10 business days for your money to be returned to you depending on your bank.

Comfortable hotel with great facilities

Glad we chose to stay at this Candlwood Suites hotel. Comfortable rooms, great room facilities and hotel amenities including the candlwood cupboard which was handy when I got hungry at 3am! Free laundry room great. Easy access to PATH trains to Manhattan and close to the Newport Mall and shop rite supermarket. Only issue was being charged for the room on arrival when we had already paid but this was rectified the next day when I realised what's had happened. Would stay again.

Room felt like it was not updated for last 20+ yrs

The room I was in ,609, felt like it was not updated since the 1990s. The thermostat was old school, the heater / ac unit was incredibly noisy and so was the refrigerator. I would never stay here again

I'm sorry you did not enjoy your stay with us. We were renovated in 2012 and just received all new carpet and flooring in the fall of 2016. We are continuing to update all rooms on a monthly basis and will be updating our lobby in 2017.
