Everything was as expected except pillows didn’t offer any support. Bedding was very comfortable. Towels also were soft and fluffy. It was very convenient to have microwave, cooler and coffeemaker. Bus 190 to Manhattan was at walking distance, stop next to Home Depot.

This was the most difficult hotel to find. The 800 number was unhelpful. I called the number listed on my reservation and they were the most unhelpful and useless people in the entire world. I asked for the direct number to the hotel and they refused to give it to me. I asked a landmark to try and make my experience better and they refused. Wow! I will never use the Expedia to book hotels again!

We stayed here and rode the bus into NYC. The short walk to the bus stop was easy, and the bus schedule was convenient. Getting around in NYC from the transit center was easy.

Unfortunately our first interaction with the front desk was not a positive one. The room wasn’t very clean - bedding was fine but marks on the walls and floors were questionable. The shower had great water pressure which was awesome. The cable wouldn’t let us play majority of channels and they charged my card twice on error which i realized midway through trip and has to be now later fixed. The rest of the staff, cleaning crew included were so helpful and friendly! The beds were very comfy and the little shop downstairs was helpful! Comfy and welcoming seating area in the lobby. Overall stay wasn’t too bad.

What can I say about this hotel? I stayed there about a decade ago and it was a decent hotel, a lot has changed since then. I would not recommend this to anyone and would not stay there again. The place is worn now, needs a refurb. The lobby was clean as were the hallways though. My room was a different story. The toilet backed up and it looked like red wine stains all over the wallpaper in the bathroom. Black mode in the ceiling corners. The water went hot and cold in the shower without touching the valve. A sign on the mirror said that cleaning and towels could be ordered at any time. Wrong! On the 3rd day, early in the morning, we talked to the front desk about cleaning the room, they said no problem. We got back to the hotel room at 11:00 pm that night after a concert at MetLife and the room was never touched. We went back down to the front desk to complain that the house staff didn't clean the room, that we saw them that morning, they were cleaning the rooms next to ours. We were told that the cleaning people are hired out, not their staff. And you must tell the front desk the night before. And this should have been told to us at the time of check-in, but it wasn't. Poor communication by the staff. Eventually the front desk did find us some sheets and WE made the bed. A sign on the front desk stated that the pool was closed to further notice, (on a long holiday weekend? Really? I don't think they had the staff to clean it. I just ran out of space to type. More.

No hot water!
Friendly staff for the most part. The person at the front desk this morning did his job by taking my complaint that there was no hot water, however could have greeted me with a smile as well as an apology for the issue. In addition, I asked for a discount which he point blank refused without even an apology. Yes, there was water but it was cold and uncomfortable to have a sheet. I do think we should get some kind of a discount!

The staff was nice. It was hard to sleep at night with the highway right there. Other than that there were no issues. The location was convenient from where i was going. It is a basic hotel nothing fancy. The rooms are outdated but that's just like every other hotel. If you just need it for one or two nights i would recommend.

the room is OK. But the carpet is sticky and dirty. The AC is no noisy. We tried to stop the AC using the controller on the wall, but it didn't work.

Was disappointed in the fact we were charged for wifi and it didn’t even connect well, not to mention we were never notified wifi wasn’t free. The overall cleanliness was lacking, our toilet kept running, and the temperature of the shower was finicky

The room was amazing! Lots of space. The service at the front desk was not what I expected. I had called the day before to ask about an early check in and the woman on the phone was very short and kind of rude about it to me. Checking in was a similar experience. I could hear the two people working the desk whispering and giggling at me and the my friend when we were checking in.
