Don't stay, your room is not guaranteed!

I checked in to my prepaid hotel. I get upstairs to find a horrible smoke smell in the hallways as well as the room. I had reserved a king room and turn lights on to see a double bed. I went down and said they gave the wrong room, the receptionist didn't even confirm my room etc upon check in then says oh we do not have king rooms and blamed expedia as the hotel policy does not guarantee your reservation "it's preference." This is stated NOWHERE when i booked or checked in. Since I had already paid and checked in I had them change my room because of the horrible smell. No apologies or anything so I will never be staying here again. The bathroom light did not work so we had to leave the door open to go nor was the sink inside and very small. Horrible service; when expedia called, the manager was talking ill about expedia and the "person who took their room" when I happened to have been sitting right there watching the whole conversation but she didn't know it was regarding me. Extremely unprofessional, I'm sure there are better options. Also, expedia promised to remove this hotel and others like it from the site but clearly no one cares about their one out of many customers.
