Lovely quiet hotel with fantastic view, ideally placed (next to subway) to explore Manhattan with none of the noise! Rooms are comfortable with good facilities, staff very helpful.

Terrible room condition

Location: Good location to take Path to go to Manhattan.
Toilet was terribly dirty and the bed was uncomfortable.

Location for views

Nice hotel in a great location for Manhattan views. PATH station on premises and ferry is a short walk away. Restaurant and bar are nice to have but pricey. Hotel staff are accommodating but do not necessarily go out of their way to inform you of hotel amenities and policies. The parking is expensive and when checking out I waited outside with my bags for over 30 minutes for them to bring my car. I would definitely go back but I would park my car in nearby lot myself.

Hotels.com room assignments

Hotel is in a great location near the NJ Path train and many corporate offices in the Jersey City area.Great views, walking areas, bar, restaurant and hotel staff is very accomodating. I am noticing a pattern with all the hotels I book on hotels.com. Each hotel seems to have a block of rooms for hotel.com bookings. They are always the last room down long hallways and always have the worst views over the air conditioners, roofs, etc. You must request on check-in rooms with a better location or view.

Hotel is ok. My only complaint was that housekeeping barged in at 10am and didn't knock. Most hotels will knock but I guess this isn't a standard at this hotel.
