The room was good, the restaurant was way below that of a "3.5" star hotel. Amenities as a whole could have been better. Elevator was deplorable! Discounted price was very good

We enjoyed the view and the room layout. Only thing missing was balcony. Shower head needs to be bettor and water pressure not great. Overall a good stay.

Pros: The suite was expansive, modern and clean
Check in was very easy and the hotel staff was friendly. We really enjoyed hoping on the ferry for a trip to Manhattan. The views of the water front and sky line were great. Our suite was very spacious and modern and we loved the Starbuck's coffee in the morning. Breakfast - a wide variety to choose from available .

NY Times Travel Show

Pros: Convenience to the ferry.
Location: Manhattan is only 14 minutes away by ferry.
Three of us stayed at this hotel during the NY Times Travel Show. The accommodations were above average and the NY Waterway Ferry stop is only a few steps from the front door. Very convenient, especially if you are attending a conference or expo at The Javits Center.

Pros: the staff has been friendly and helpful
Cons: alkohol in the lounge, as usual for free
Location: direct on the hudson river, you can go by bus or ferry to NY
nice,but to could see is had some better time. But to stay the is a good way when you want to visit NY

LA PEOR EXPERIENCIA HOTELERA

Pros: cercania con NY
Cons: mucho las instalaciones son viejas y se nota muy poco mantenimiento.
Location: muy poca actividad en los alrededores, pero con excelente comunicación en bus a NY
Dos días después de llegar al hotel, posterior a una larga jornada caminando por NY, ingreso a la habitación y decido tomar un baño... para sorpresa el agua de la regadera era color café. Decidí llenar la tina de baño para constatar que pasaba y al vaciarla quedo una capa de tierra en la bañera, tome fotografías del agua y residuos de tierra, baje a la recepción y solicite hablar con el gerente ( lo negaron) así que dialogue con un señorita llamada Cristina quien dijo ser gerente en turno la cual me dijo que en la ciudad había un problema por una tubería rota. Le explique a esa persona y al día siguiente a otra gerente en turno que debieron informar a sus huéspedes con un anuncio en el lobby y elevadores sobre la situación NO lo hicieron nunca, el problema duro dos días en los cuales no se podía uno bañar mas que con agua contaminada, algo inaudito en un hotel de esa categoría. Dos dias me bañe con botellas de agua que dejan en las habitaciones, el colmo de la historia fue al hacer el registro de salida y cargarme en la cuenta una botella de agua ( que nunca solicite) durante 38 años trabaje en la hoteleria a nivel mundial como gerente de hoteles GT y lo que pase en ese hotel fue absolutamente inconcebible, ademas de una total irresponsabilidad por parte de la cadena al forzar a sus huéspedes al uso de sus instalaciones en esas condiciones dadas las posibilidades de contraer alguna enfermedad grave.

Second stay at this hotel.

Upon check in i was informed that they did not have my queen bed i reserved for my girlfriend and i. I was given a room with two twin beds. About an hour into my stay my door opened and another guest comes into my room with a key card saying they had just given him this room when they checked me in not even an hour before. This was followed by several calls from the front desk asking who i was and asking me to come down and re swipe my credit card and eventually some more phone calls. I was annoyed.
