Only think i wasn't keen on was when having breakfast all the sauces and marmalades were in open dishes, so when i was served my english breakfast on a hot plate if you want sauce, brown or red i had to carry a hot plate to the table at front and spoon the sauce on, same with marmalade for toast, either sauce on table or small saches would be better.

All was good at the hotel except breakfast service let us down. Orders for cooked food were not right each morning; staff did not know which table to bring food in so we were served plates that were ordered by other guests; supplies for continental breakfast were not replenished until I had to ask and wait for it; the standard of the hotel demands more variety in breakfast buffet; one coffee machine is not enough (queues)

Staff were great and very friendly. Room was a bit smelly and tired and could do with a refurbish. Altough I slept well, the mattress was well worn. Bathroom shower and toilet was struggling to drain the water. There was hardly any water pressure when showering. Breakfast was OK, however the coffee was close to undrinkable.

Excellently located super-friendly hotel
This hotel is in a really great location, 5 minutes walk down to the beach, with our seaview room perfectly overlooking the bay and the sunsets, this was a lovely smart and clean place to stay, does great breakfasts - but above all has the friendliest & most helpful staff ever - a lovely experience.

The sun terrace is great, relaxing, beautiful views, couldn’t ask for more. Great breakfast. Location perfect, views from the hotel of the bay beautiful, and lots of lovely walks from the hotel. Path down to the beach was ideal. Would definitely return.

The hotel is in a lovely location but a long walk to beach and very steep climb back to hotel. There are no sun beds available and if you are on a bed and breakfast basis you are seated in a separate part of restaurant which I think is wrong. Wouldn’t go back

Thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Biarritz Hotel in St. Brelades Bay. A truly hospitable hotel, with an excellent and varied menu every evening, Superb breakfasts and breathtaking views from the new terrace which overlooks the bay. All of the young serving staff were very polite and the service was excellent. Would highly recommend a visit not only to Jersey but to this Hotel.

Nice Hotel, beach on your doorstep and welcoming!
Stayed at Biarritz Hotel 3*. This is a christian hotel, therefore no alcohol on site, but you can bring your own. Prayers each morning for approx 15 mins, but we didn't hear the service from our room. Room S1B has a lovely view of St Brelade's Bay (the prettiest beach on the island). The Room was very clean, appeared newly decorated. Staff are friendly/make you feel welcome. Standard English Breakfast/continental served. Tea/Coffee facilities in room only. Bring a torch if you use the stairs at the back of hotel to get to the beach and eateries along the prom, as there is little lighting. Staff happy to oblige if you require anything. Had dinner at The Oyster Box Restaurant x 2 (approx 10 minute walk via the prom) - food was delicious - recommend you book a table in advance as gets very busy - you won't be disappointed!! Staff there were lovely - they offered to drive us back to hotel when taxi was slow to arrive! Lovely atmosphere. Recommend the haddock, whole lobster, mussels and champagne oysters - all the food looked appetising/fresh! Crab Shack eaterie next door was ok. Went on an Island day tour for £20.00pp - not much to see as such, but views are quite pretty. Tour Guide, "Frank", was a sweet, humorous gentleman from Scotland who enlightened us about the history of Jersey - thank you Frank - all the best for your imminent retirement. Would stay again as a quick getaway to recharge batteries. Good value for money for a 3 night relaxing stay. Clientele mostly elderly

Quiet Comfortable Hotel in Excellent Location
This is a great place to stay but be aware that the hotel does not have a drinks licence. Taking your own wine to dinner is accepted. As this hotel is advertised as a Christian Hotel, there are morning services for those who wish to attend.

Nice Hotel Close to Beach
Lovely hotel with brilliant views over St Brelades Bay. Although a Christian Hotel none of this was "in your face" we were never asked to join in prayers or service, this all took place in another room without any disturbance to guests who did not wish to participate. Breakfast was very good, staff were excellent, room cleaned every day. Tea/coffee in room, brilliant hairdryer (I want one of them). If there is a down side it was the walk down to the prom, or should I say back up again as there were a lot of steps, but this helped work off any excess food and kept us fit, and plenty of people older than us, and we are in our 60's did these steps on a daily basis. Highly recommend this hotel.

Biarritz by name and Biarritz by nature!
Biarritz in France is a luxurious seaside town so it is highly appropriate that this hotel bears the same name! Much thought has been put into every aspect of this beachfront location. The rooms are very well appointed and of good proportions, including the wall-mounted flat screen televisions! The ensuite bathrooms are very functional with clean towels provided as and when requested. Each room appears to have a balcony and a stunning ocean view! Every person who works at this establishment is committed to guest satisfaction and management have evidently engendered a great working environment!

Super hotel by beach and amenities.
We enjoyed walking along the beach below the hotel and sitting in the nearby Churchill Gardens. Also we visited the pretty St Brelades church and chapel. We caught the bus from outside the hotel and went to St Helier, a busy town. We would have appreciated better evening entertainment (same guitarist/singer as previous year, same repertoire), didn't enjoy the film evening, a bit boring.

UK premier Christian Hotel
Dissapointed with damp smell in bedroom between bed and balcony TV at an angle when viewed from bed No power shower and flow quite slow in the morning Internet cost £10 for two devices for the stay, a good service but I thought this would have been factored into the room rate Maid service exceptional especially the cleanliness of the shower screen Front of house Magda let us in late at night from the beach steps, this saved a long walk Fabulous views; quiet location; lots of walks nearby and a beach to die for Stamped cards a nice touch and associated taxi service efficient, courteous and good value Breakfast was in pleasant room and food was plentiful and well prepared

Baywatch
This was a comfortable hotel in a very good position looking over beautiful St Brelade's Bay with private access down to the (public) beach. The staff were uniformly welcoming and friendly. The hotel may not suit everyone as it has no bar, just a cafe open after dinner only. The clientele was almost entirely elderly couples (and we are over 50!) so the ambience reflects that. The hotel claims to be the best Christian hotel in the British Isles but was not advertised as such on Expedia - people should be informed so they can exercise choice. The short morning service was held in the main lounge each weekday morning which was also the route into and out of the hotel! Fortunately we were having breakfast each day at that time. A local guide gave a very interesting talk one evening on local history, flora and fauna and led a two hour walk locally demonstrating same one morning. All free of charge and a great way to learn about Jersey. So not an hotel for night life or even a pre-dinner drink (unless you brought your own) but in a great position and the staff made the experience rather more personal than a large chain would have done. No wi-fi, one computer for www in foyer. We didn't eat in other than breakfast but the evening menu looked appetising if not particularly original. Several good restaurants within walking distance along the beach.

The best view of the bay, yes the slogan is true. However, the hotel does not meet modern standards. The bathroom furnishings have simple, blinding mirrors. The furniture is very simple. The house is completely winding and confusing. In the dining room and partly in the corridors there is a constant smell of grease. At breakfast on the first day, I also felt like I was in a retirement home. The other days I did not eat there. My TV wasn't working, I told the hotel manager at the reception because no one else was there at the time. He just said mockingly “interesting” and did nothing. I found that insolent. When the hotel is managed in this way, the difference between aspiration and performance becomes clear to me, even the Christian claim they have doesn’t help. Kind regards, Stephan

Friendly, all-age hotel with
I found the friendly atmosphere particularly nice staying at this hotel. From families with toddlers, with teenagers, to young couples and elderly couples all age groups are happy at this hotel. Everybody (guests and staff) are particulary friendly e.g. at breakast. You can also eat more meals at the hotel which I did not do but I was told the kitchen is also good for dinners! The hotel is a very good choice at three stars, I highly recommend it.
