Gutes Hotel zu fairem PreisPosted Jul 22, 2015 on Hotels

Good choice!Posted Jul 7, 2015 on Hotels
It was a good experience to stay at Dan Boutique Jerusalem. The hotel is quite close to the Old City, about 15 minutes by walk. Room was quite clean, just some stains on the carpet. Nice view from the window, especially in the evening. Service is good. Brekfast was excellent. The supermarket 24 hours is on the left from the hotel in 3 minutes. Next time I will stay here again.

Good location, poor service and qualityPosted Jul 1, 2015 on Hotels
The rooms are fairly small and are not clean. Garbage cans are not lined, high volume hotel with no regard to quality

Nice hotel a 20 min walk to Jaffa gatePosted Jun 9, 2015 on Hotels
I travel a lot in the US and international and have gotten to see the good and bad regarding lodging. I liked this place overall esp for the price. On the positive side, Jaffa Gate is not that far away (15 minute walk but half is uphill so get ready to sweat….or take a cab), the rooms are quiet, the rooms are dark with good black out shades, the main room and bathroom have a good amount of space (even at the lowest class of room), the front desk was helpful in arranging a shared cab to the airport and answering questions I had, and wifi was good. The cons was the 15-20 min walk to Jaffa gate left me sweating every time (would be nice if it was a flat walk or there was public transit), and breakfast was very basic. They could use an American-style buffet with more western options (vs the Israeli style breakfast which seemed heavy on bread & potatoes)

Good stay, confusion on reservationPosted May 30, 2015 on Hotels
The Dan Boutique was a splendid hotel. Our reservation through hotels.com did not show the change I had made to the reservation, so I ended up paying two hundred USD more than I was quoted. This was a problem and still is. Back to the hotel, it is near a very cool area to eat/shop- the old train station. We easily caught buses to where we needed to go, and the free parking in the back of the hotel was very convenient. The hotel's doorman/security guards were lovely. They reminded me of caring aba's making sure all was well. We got an upgrade to our room but we still looked at the parking lot. The room itself was very clean, modern and comfortable. The mint/lemon ice water in the lobby is a delight when coming in from a long, hot Israeli day.

Excellent hotelPosted May 15, 2015
Pros: staff, breakfast, location, price.
Cons: Bathtub had some mold around the edges of the tub, room could use some minor repairs.
Location: Great location, close to the old city and Mamilla.
We stayed 2 nights. The hotel was great, the staff were extremely kind and helpful. The room was a bit aged, but not too bad. Breakfast was outstanding: lots of selection, both hot and cold. I will definitely stay there again and recommend it to friends and family.

breakfast good. Excellent views of the city. Beds too hard. Room size adequate. Reasonable price. Would stay here again.
