Great location but not so on staff and service!

Posted Dec 15, 2016
Hotel location was fantastic. Right next door to the light rail and bus station. Buffet was not so good. Since it is a religious hotel (I assume) there is no meat choices as there are plenty of cheese. Room service was not so good. The room was not done on the last day before we checked out and the coffee and sugar was not replaced the entire stay.

Ok for a cheap hotel but the parking is weird.

Posted Nov 1, 2016
Pros: Free parking, wifi, and breakfast.
Cons: Parking lot dark and scary. Walking up and down the ramp just seems wrong.
Location: Nothing nearby except anti t mall and the business district. Historical sites are15 minutes away by train.
The hotel is connected to a small mall and you need to park in the lot that is connected to the mall. not too bad but then the elevator doesn't get you all the way to the hotel. You need to lug your bags up the last 2 floors. This is the way you get to and from the parking every time except when the mall is closed. When the mall closes you need to find the security guard to open up the gate to the garage and then walk up or down the ramp to and from your car. The mall closes at 10:00 or 11:00 each night and all day on Saturday. It was kind of a pain.

Cheap but dirty

Posted Oct 6, 2016
Pros: The location was convenient for access to the ICC conference center and central bus terminal, and the price point was very competitive.
Cons: I was disappointed by the cleanliness of the room. The bathroom was well kept, but the carpet in the living area was stained and poorly vaccuumed.

Nice hotel, well located

Posted Jan 7, 2016
Pros: Very well located, with reasonable prices
Cons: I sayed there for 4 days and the dinner menu was almost always the same. They could include some variety
Location: The hotel is located in the entrance of the city. Therefore, not much to do nearby. However, you can easily take the Rakevet (train) into the city
The hotel is comfortable, with a good breakfast buffet (typical Israeli food such as salads, different types of cheese, bread, fish, ...) and well located (close to the Tachanat - bus station and to the Rakevet - train that goes across Jerusalem)

Strongly not recommended

Posted Dec 29, 2015
Pros: Free parking. Price. Roomy lobby. Linen and pillows were ok.
Cons: Almost everything. From the attitude of the staff to changing the furniture, A/C, carpets, paint, beds, LCD TVs, window curtains, lamps, mirrors etc.
Location: Location is near the central bus station with a few shops and restaurants within walking distance.
Here's a short rundown of my stay: Lobby is OK and roomy. Banquet halls and dining rooms OK as well but that's were it all ends. Parking is free but you cannot use the elevator to the parking basement. You need to drag your luggage thru the lobby and down a flight of stairs thru a mini-mall. Too bad if you have suitcases. Busboys? Haven't seen even one around even the front desk is sometimes empty (there's an office behind the front desk where staff sometimes sit). Room was extremely small and beds are very narrow and low - almost like sleeping on two mattresses piled one on top of the other. Bathroom was redone and OK. A/C is antiquated and inadequate. There's an LCD, ok, but it's the size of a digital picture frame (see photo). Extremely annoying was that I was interrupted while sitting in the lobby, more than once, by hotel staff asking me whether or not I ordered something from the bar or paid for a room "because the lobby is for paying guests and bar patrons only" - very tacky. The condition of the beds, furniture and carpets are below the star rating scale, so is the willingness and general atmosphere exhibited by the staff.

Nice hotel, reasonable price

Posted Sep 20, 2015
Pros: room was comfortable, price was good.
The hotel is fine for the price. There are supermarkets, shops and restaurants nearby. Public transportation is nearby as well, so the sights of Jerusalem are easily reached. Breakfast was ok as well. Free Wi-Fi was also offered. A reasonable choice for a Jerusalem stay.
