Breakfast

Posted Feb 6, 2016
The breakfast spread is out of this world However-try to get a cup of coffee-forget it They serve you at the table and most of the time no one is around I found a young woman and asked but by then my food was cold and she was rude!

great price and great location

hotel is centrally located across the street from the great synagogue, 20 minute walk to the western wall, 10 to mamailla mall, 10 to center of town, with plenty of busses near by. the hotel itself is great condition, rooms aren't so clean. we loved the complimentary breakfast which was tremendous in variety and daily. on Shabbos the same breakfast was offered, even thought we ordered lunch(probably didn't need both).

Great Location but definitely not 5 Star

Posted Sep 4, 2015
Pros: Good Location, Near Restaurants and the Old City
Cons: Customer Service and front desk courtesy is a very much needed priority
Location: Near Restaurants and the Old City
This was our 2nd visit to the Leonardo Plaza Hotel in Jerusalem however it will most likely be our last. The hotel is centrally located and probably have the very best breakfast compared with most of the competitive hotels in the area. The spread and variety is just amazing. Unfortunately our first room smelled very badly of mildew however we were so tired after a long trip that we decided to try and sleep there. Not a good idea as my wife ended up with an asthma attack and hardly slept that night. The following day we reported this and while they did offer us another room, there was no offer forthcoming for any assistance to move from the one room to the other. Nor was there even any apology for the inconvenience. Shame on you Leonardo Plaza!!! Notwithstanding the hotel is very centrally located , near the Old City , shops and restaurants however definitely not 5 star however with a small upgrade ( the rooms are a little dated ) and a little more attention to customer relations when things do go wrong, the hotel has a lot of potential.
