This is an oasis next to the Old City. Friendly staff and an awesome ambiance makes this a perfect destination.

cant get better than this - amazing hotel

Posted May 10, 2016
Pros: staff - service - food - room
Cons: this is a 5 star hotel
Location: only 100 meters from the Old city , shops near by
I have only positive comments to make : the hotel is modern , decorated in the best way one could ever imagine , staff courteous and polite , location amazing , what else can one expect !

Although a very nice hotel in a great location it lacked the attention to detail that I would expect from a 5-star hotel at the room rate that they charge. I would consider staying there again only if the rate was lower.

We had an amazing time. Best hotel in Jerusalem. Luxury but quiet and serene.

Плохой спа.

Отвратительная система спа и бассейна. Все в разных местах. И сам спа скудный. Только паровая баня в фитнес-центра

Would not recommend

Posted Jan 7, 2016 on Hotels
Overall, I would not recommend this hotel. We moved to the Waldorf next door (same price) after three days and had a much better experience. Good: a) Excellent location. b) The lobby and public spaces are nice and in most cases bright and cheerful. Could improve: 1) The shower in the suite (or perhaps all rooms) sprayed water everywhere. We used towels to mop it up and called for more towels - to which it was offered for someone to come up and mop since it was a common complaint. 1) The hallways are not insulated sufficiently from the room causing 3AM hallway conversations to sound like they're in your room. 2) Service was uniformly very poor. Three examples of many: rather than bring juice, room service told us twice to get juice from our mini-bar despite us telling them it was locked; concierge did not call us back three times of four; halfway through food delivery at the cafe our waiter left for the day. 3) Our room strongly smelled of sewage. After four calls maintenance arrived - who then filled our water bottles with foul-smelling liquid from our closet ceiling while splattering it on the floor. Thirty minutes later they finally agreed to move us to another room. 4) Fit and finish was not up to five star standards: broken bathroom divider window, two broken light switches, loose ceiling lamp with ceiling damage around it, mold/algea clogged Nespresso maker, uncloseable bathroom door, and unfinished plywood under the easily moved living room rug.
