Not a 4 star.Posted Nov 25, 2015
Location: Not a good area, very dirty streets and dark at night. I would not go for a walk alone at night in this area.
Not a bad hotel - not in the best area of Jerusalem very seedy area. Room ok shower very small, twin beds joined together to form what they call a Queen. Breasfeast which was included was really good and free wifi. Do not think I would stay there again. I would recommend you book a hotel in Tel Aviv and then do tours from there as only about 40 min drive from Aviv to Jerusalem.

Hotell hadde restaurant i 4 etg.

Omgeving stadsdeel erg vuil , personeel deed erg haar best. Eten geen top kwaliteit, ontbijt was prma

Amazing place with great staff!!!Posted Nov 9, 2015
Location: 5 Minute walk to the old city!
We just came back from our trip to Jerusalem and our stay at the National Hotel in Jerusalem. We absolutely loved the hotel and the staff! Everyone was so accommodating and friendly! The buffet breakfast is HUGE and YUMMY and we left stuffed every morning! The hotel is also incredibly close to the old city, about a 5 min walk! If you are looking for a great hotel with a wonderful staff and HUGE buffet breakfast book this hotel!

Sehr zuvorkommender ServicePosted Nov 5, 2015
Cons: Siehe oben!

Awesome hotel near the old cityPosted Oct 24, 2015
I was a bit apprehensive about coming due to the recent outbreaks. However, I quickly learned that it is all media hype and Jerusalem is at peace! The hotel is situated about 10 minutes' walk from Herod's and Damascus gates (Muslim Quarter, but actually closest gate to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre and Christian Quarter) and Garden tomb. Also, it is a 15 minute walk to the Mount of Olives and Lion's Gate (Jewish Quarter). The neighborhood is in a traditionally Muslim area of Jerusalem, but everyone is friendly and hospitable, and I have seen all walks of life in my 7-day stay here. The hotel and hotel staff were all excellent: there is free parking, free delicious breakfast overlooking the city, and they greet you with water bottles and a traditional dessert! Also, there's a nice gym in the basement where I could go running. And let's not forget free wifi!! Everyone here is so knowledgable about the area, and so accommodating and welcoming. On 2 occasions my family and I missed breakfast, and they arranged an alternative breakfast for us. I appreciated they took the time to make sure we were taken care of. Also, tomorrow we have to leave early and the hotel arranged a special boxed breakfast for us. Wow! You don't even get this kind of service in the US (where I'm from). The rooms are spacious and tidy. I love the smell of the laundry detergent that we get from the fresh sheets every day. The accents around the room make it seem more homey and cozy.
