beautiful castle.

Loved the chapel, roof top wine & cheese & having a balcony. Beautiful views and easy access to Old City from New Gate. Check out Alfred's shop in the Christian Quarter too!

Good historic hotel for Christians

Good historic hotel for Christians. No kosher food, there is no Sabbath. In a ten minute walk from the Temple of the Holy Sepulchre

Can't beat the location.

Cons: There is free Wi-Fi in the lobby but not in the rooms.
You can't beat the location and the free parking (if you brought a car with you). The rooms are fine and the breakfast like in all of Israel is plentiful and varied. What sets this place apart is the location, the free & easy parking and the great views from the roof.

Great location, safe hotel but it is clearly geared towards church groups. Service was average for the price and wi-fi is extra. Ridiculous on both fronts for 300+ a night. Wait staff in restaurants seemed to focus on the groups and forget us on a regular basis. Hallways were loud at night and cleaning service was on our balcony at 7am. We traded a good night sleep for easy access to old town.

PEACEFUL STAY BY THE SIDE OF GOD

Posted Mar 6, 2016 on Hotels
Amazing hotel with own chappel just across the street from The Old Town's New Gate. This gate is like a private and peaceful entry, everything is in a 5-minute walk from the hotel. A perfect place to stay for your spiritual journey!

Un hôtel confortable et très bien situé

Posted Oct 21, 2015 on Hotels

Great hotel. Fantastic location. Everything was nearly perfect- except the A/C did not function. There was a ceiling fan so it was bearable, but a little uncomfortable.
