Jewel in jerusalem

Posted Dec 16, 2016
Beautiful building and excellent location. Across from the new gate and very close to the Jaffa gate. Friendly and thoughtful staff and immaculate rooms. Sparse but with high ceilings, nice furniture and nice bathrooms. Informal atmosphere. Excellent value for the price. Beautiful views from the roof terrace. Highly recommend.

Pros: Everything was pleasant and most important is that they were able to accommodate my request to stay on for extra dates. The staff is extremely attentive and very helpful, polite and warm.
Cons: I loved the hotel and I'm planning to book my friends and relatives here in the future.

Worst breakfast in Israel

Posted Oct 17, 2016
At least you got a parking spot. Good room if u got the best upgrade room. If not go home and breakfast is the worst thing ever. But rooms are really good if you can't read or understand anything in this world. Rooms like lol

Great location . Perfect for Christian pilgrims

Posted Oct 6, 2016
Excellent but depends what you are looking for. This is not your resort hotel you are used to in the USA or Europe! If you are a Christian pilgrim perfect . You can walk easily to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre and explore on your own tours can't spend hours just to stand in line for different things in the Church. Bit pricey though except for buffet where food is so so quality.

Loved the chapel, roof top wine & cheese & having a balcony. Beautiful views and easy access to Old City from New Gate. Check out Alfred's shop in the Christian Quarter too!

Can't beat the location.

Posted Apr 4, 2016
Cons: There is free Wi-Fi in the lobby but not in the rooms.
You can't beat the location and the free parking (if you brought a car with you). The rooms are fine and the breakfast like in all of Israel is plentiful and varied. What sets this place apart is the location, the free & easy parking and the great views from the roof.

Nice Hotel close to Old Jerusalem

Posted Aug 23, 2015
Pros: Great position to walk into Old Jerusalem, and the Roof-Top Restaurant has the best views of the old city.
Cons: Bigger and lighter rooms. Facilities to make tea and coffee.
Location: Great location to explore Old Jerusalem, access to trams and market places.
The Notre Dame Guest House was a pleasant place to stay, but a bit basic.
