Standard hotel close to old city

Posted Sep 22, 2015
Pros: Location, view from the pool
Cons: Breakfast offer
Location: Close to the old city but many rooms facing noisy street
In the past it was clearly at much higher level, now it caters to tourists groups, restaurant service limited to evening buffet, pool with great view but small and not so well kept. Top floor restaurant not working any longer.

Wonderful staff and perfect location

Posted Sep 21, 2015
Pros: Staff was very friendly and showed genuine hospitality.
Cons: Would have been nice to have been able to use the Rooftop pool.
Location: 10mins walk to the Damascus gates, easily walkable to west Jerusalem and all major sites. Had a wonderful meal at al mihbash, a Palestinian restaurant
Great location, 10mins walk to the Damascus gates in east Jerusalem. Friendly staff that made extra efforts to make your stay more enjoyable. Nice breakfast and good size rooms.

Somewhat comfortable hotel near the Old City

Posted Sep 12, 2015 on Hotels
I spent one night on my own, and a two more as part of a group. In general, the hotel is clean and comfortable but a lot of minor inconveniences such as lack of coffee pot, improper functioning of faucets etc. reduced the enjoyment of my stay.

Good location, nice rooms.

Posted Aug 20, 2015
Convenient to the Old City, and to the bus stops both for travelling within Jerusalem and to the West Bank. The rooftop pool is lovely and a perfect place for a swim on a summer morning or evening. Rooms are very comfortable, with good air conditioning, comfortable beds, and good-sized bathrooms. Breakfast is good but not great.

Very nice pool overlooking the old city was refreshing after a day The rooms are big and clean, bathroom facilities are very basic The pool closes early around 6pm which is not good, the restaurant overlooking the old city was also closed in the evening. Staff were always helpful

Not worth it

Posted Jun 21, 2015 on Hotels
This is definitely not a 4 star hotel. There's a sign at the reception stating that it won an award for the best luxury hotel either last year or a few years before, but that is the only hint of it being a luxury hotel. The bathroom is incredibly old, with a sideways hanging shower head about 1 meter from the bathtub, so you have to hold it the entire time. The bathtub is also seriously scratched with black marks all over it. The rooms are smoking, so the smoke comes into the room, and the AC runs either all the time (while you sleep blowing smoke and extremely cold air right on your face), or has to be kept turned off which makes the room very warm in the summer. There are also parties either in the hotel or outside, so it's quite noisy. The best thing about the hotel is that the wifi works, which is not a given in many hotels even if they say they have wifi in the rooms. All in all, seems very run down, definitely not a place worth paying a bunch of money, and the service is not anywhere near a 4* level. I would not stay here again.

Our hotel is a friendly environment hotel, where smoking is not allowed in any of the rooms, as the rooms are equipped with highly sensitive sensors and smoke detectives that would prompt the hotel alarm immediately. All Hotel rooms feature two showers, one fixed and other one portable. Moreover please be informed that we have shared your comments with our management in order to improve the mentioned points. Un buon Hotel situato in una zona caratteristica.

Posted Oct 28, 2014
Pros: Organizzazione della reception, the e caffe acqua gratis in camera.
