staff friendly but..

Cons: service and restaurant
i had asked for an extra blanket that never arrived until i asked again the next day. restaurant food terrible and although the staff was very sweet and friendly the service was horrible!! sat and waited for waitress to help us but never even acknowledged us when we walked in. restaurant not busy but always used excuse that they were really busy. food was the same every day no variety and what they had tasted like it had been microwaved!!

A great stay!

We had a great stay at the hotel. The managers/staff at the desk were super friendly and helpful. The shuttle service to the MARC was so convenient and prompt. We actually got in a van for a different Holiday Inn and the driver took us right back to the station where the correct one was still waiting for us. Great service and with a smile! The room must have been recently updated. It was very attractive and comfortable. We highly recommend this Holiday Inn!

BEDBUGS!!!

Checked in on Friday night, close to midnight. Got up very early in the morning Saturday for a sports tournament, was away most of the day. Went to bed Saturday night and woke up Sunday morning COVERED WITH BEDBUG BITES on my upper body, specifically on my arms, neck, and hands. I pulled back the bedding, and looked under the pillows and saw 2 bedbugs crawling around! My arms, chest, neck, hands backside and legs have continued to show up with bites. The bed must have been infested because I literally have hundreds of bites on my body. The poor guy at the check in desk received the angry feedback I gave him and I asked him to give my phone number to the manager, so I could let that person know in detail. The front desk employee offered to compensate my meals that we had there and told me he would pass on my request to have the manager call me. I think my meals tab was cleared (Credit card shows something pending but not sure). Since coming home, I have continued to have bites show up and they are literally now all over my body... one bite even on my eyelid! I have been washing everything non-stop and hope I have not brought any bedbugs back home. OH... and the manager has never called me. The silence is telling... I waited to post this in hopes of a phone call, but 72 hours have passed...

Nice Hotel just off I95

I stayed here with my 8 year old for two nights. We checked in around 11pm and the clerk was very nice and friendly and explained everything to me from the Wifi to Breakfast the next morning. We had a King room and it was very spacious. It was decorated nicely. The bed was very comfortable. The Hotel was quiet. The last morning of our stay you we were in the restaurant area eating breakfast and you could see the hotel manager had gathered all the staff around and was either giving a pep talk or recognizing someone. It was really nice to see and the employees seemed to really enjoy it as well. I would definitely stay here again!

The cocktail hour could have offered a better selection and quality of food. I think it would be nice to allow the customer to be able to enjoy their food and drink in their room if they prefer. Other than the food issue our stay was great!!!!
