I stayed a total of 6 nights in this hotel. The lobby was impressive and big. My hotel room was like a mini apartment but the lighting and heating could be improved. I slept well during my stay there but it was cold whenever I had to use the bathroom at night as the insulation was not great (however it was also extremely cold in Jinan). I did not have breakfast in the hotel, preferring to trawl the local eateries but I did have one dinner at their Italian restaurant that was mediocre.

Overall, it was great. They offered free breakfast at their business floor. Only problem was we cannot adjust the room temperature which made it rather hot and slightly uncomfortable. Guess it was centralized.

I came little early after a long flight and I was given a room Right away allowed an early check-in. Vivian and Marian at the front desk were great to work with. Also, food at the revolving restaurant was delicious.

Nice but need improvement.
Overall, it was a great place to stay. The staff were very helpful and the location was also great to explore the city. The breakfast was great as we could have a nice meal while looking at the city at a rotating restaurant on the 49th floor. However, the last night we stayed was a bit unpleasant. We were at the non-smoking floor but someone was smoking so heavily and it came through the air conditioning. My friend had to wear a mask to avoid the smell and for a time we thought there was a fire... Please do not let any smoker stay at the non-smoking area.

The hotel location was pretty good. Price is reasonable. I was asked to upgrade to executive level when check in but was not allow to use the executive lounge facilities. However this was not communicated properly by the front desk during the upgrading of the room. I was disappointed when they told me I’m not suppose to use the lounge when I went to it. I make a complaint and they just allow me to use the lounge for that particular day.

Upon checking in we got uograded to suites. That’s good news. Then came the bad news. Only 1 free breakfast per room, which means only 2 for 3 of us. It was never mentioned when I booked the rooms. I have never heard of this before. It left us an impression that the hotel was trying to nickel and dime us. We ended up buying one breakfast ticket, but at the restaurant, they only asked for our room number, never even asked for a ticket, making us wonder why we need to buy an extra ticket, very bad feeling. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Bed is very comfortable, not too hard or too soft. Water pressure is good, and bathroom is very clean. Love the bath towel, so soft.

My second stay in this hotel and this time, I received a room upgrade so the room was more than decent. The Italian restaurant is great which is an ultimate surprise in such a city.

the hotel is connected to a shopping mall. So very easy for shopping. The night we arrived my colleague was sick and the pharmacy in the shopping mall was so convenient. The bed is very comfortable. Room is spacious. Breakfast is on the top floor with rotating floor to circle around the city view.

Cooking in the Winter
The location is great the Hotel is clean and offers the right facilities the only problem is the airconditioning is set on 25 degrees day and night and cannot be adjusted it was stifling. I was told Chinese people light the rooms hot shame about other travellers wanting to adjust the heat temp for sleeping was a hotel cortrol not a room control. Would not stay hear again for this reason only Staff were polite and helpful.
