Well kept airport accommodation

Hotel can be contacted by email to alert them of the need for late night / early morning use of their 24 hour shuttle - found their address on a search engine. Guest needs to phone the hotel number on arrival to initiate the pickup (call shouldn't cost more than 1 rand from the airport payphones, or information/security can call them). Reception is limited hours so the driver checks you in. Local area can be noisy and didn't look overly safe, but property is one of several in the area and is secured with walls and electric fencing. Standard rooms were a little over 25m square and came with a fan for cooling, a storage room and soap dispensers. Dining / billiards area is well presented, offers 24 hour self service tea/coffee making and an honesty bar as well as complimentary breakfast (mixture of continental buffet and cooked). Well kept garden offers a number of deck chairs and a reasonable temperature swimming pool. Staff were helpful and efficient, additional shuttle rides can be arranged at a cost for various locations like the Gautrain (best to get on/off at the commuter station just outside the airport as it's less than half the price). Most guests stay for a single night so those staying for several will have the place to themselves most mornings and afternoons. Overall a pleasant and reasonably priced place to stay with quick access from/to the airport.
