We were due to fly out the next morning and stayed for 1 night. It was the best decision - was very comfortable, room was clean, close to restaurants & cafes as well as some selected shops

Wonderful hotel in a traffic part of the city. The staff was very accommodating and the amenities was fantastic. Nice clean spacious room. Very quiet.

Location: One night stay, shops and restaurants in the area
Nice boutique hotel in a complex of shops, restaurants and other hotels, safe to walk about. Reception by front door staff and some front desk was lukewarm at best. The crew upon our departure were much better. While having breakfast in the dining room, we had to ask for a menu and explanation (ie a la carte or buffet). Once settled some staff there were good. buffet reasonably priced ($25 cdn pp) and lots of variety. The room was a good size, we had a balcony (unused). Treats were left for us (although we may have received someone else's room, as the welcome letter wasn't addressed to us, lol). Bed was comfortable, sheets were crisp (literally), pillows were fluffy. Towels large and fluffy as well. Water pressure really strong (first thing in morning it did take a bit for the hot water to come through) and bath amenities great (soap, shampoo, lotion, body wash, etc in copious quantities). Wifi excellent, strong signal, even well outside the hotel. Free bottled water in the room, m&m's in the lobby.

Beautiful hotel in upscale shopping area

Hotel is very contemporary with luxury touches all around from the glass of champagne at check in to the wonderful bath products. Nice area with good restaurants and shops within walking distance. Staff very helpful!

Come in tired, leave refreshed.

New hotel, really nice! It was a fast stay for us. The room was spacious and efficient. One thing is that both my mom and I LOOOOVE their water pressure in the shower. Amazing service as well and informative about where to get around the city!

Convenient and safe

Staff and service very friendly. Bed Linen was torn and had holes which is not suitable for a 5 star hotel.

Safe area

The area was very safe. Shopping and great outdoor cafes. The room was non-smoking but smelled of smoke. Fortunately the sliding glass door opened and I could get fresh air. Otherwise the room was very nice. No in-room coffee though.

We have implemented a procedure whereby GUESTS that smoke in non-smocking rooms are fined as this is absolutely unacceptable. Our beautiful rooms are all equipped with coffee facilities situated in our tall-boy next to the bed. It is very sad to read that you did not receive the opportunity to indulge in this offering. Great location, comfort, service and value!

Pros: Clean, comfortable, great location and service. You can get to all the major spots in JoBurg for about US$20 via Uber.
Cons: Wi-Fi was spotty and slow.
Location: Several excellent restaurants inside and nearby the hotel. A great wine store down thee street with free tastings of great S. African wines.
Super-comfy hotel with great food, convenient safe location and excellent service. An excellent value!
