Fabulous location

Pros: Location, location, location.
Cons: Bubble bath in bathroom!
Location: Top class shopping centre, tons of restaurants to choose from and impressive statue of Nelson Mandela in Mandela Square.
Something for everybody in the family to enjoy in this hotel.

Amazing rooms....5 star amenities..Pool... Jacuzzi.....Spa....Great breakfast...and it's right at Mandela square.....Shopping.....restaurants of all kinds ...movie theatres...Gautain to Airport.less than 20 mins. Everything you need is right there you don't leave the building.....

Elegant but a big gaudy

Location: Nelson Mandela Square & Sandton City.
Great location, fantastic service nice hotel. Everything you need is just on your doorstep. Had a great stay up until being woken up @ 7:00am by idiots in the gym dropping weights. 3 calls to reception & some investigation revealed the cause however it continued on! Doesn't help at the time suffering from one to many visits to the plenty of bars & restaurants the night before. Don't on the floor above the gym! Apart from that, great stay!

Our Guest Relations department will ensure that notes are placed on your profile to allocate a room on a higher floor, towards the ends of the passages away from the gym, which we have found to be quieter. We have also taken this matter up with the relevant management and I can assure you that corrective action will be taken with the parties involved. It is good because of its location, easy inside the mall, the breakfast is perfect and the entire staff is very friendly and competent. But the hotel has lost its luxury flavor, no more chocolates and no more hair conditioner - and the plumbing building would need serious maintenance. Next time I get a cheaper room across the road.
