My husband was recovering from an operation the staff could not have been nicer , nothing was to much trouble for them . The shuttle was a god send.

Very nice hotel. Close to shopping center

Indeed, the hotel is very nice, rooms are confortable, the food is great (test good congrats to the chief) and excellent staff, simpatic and helpfull. The location also good, very safe and close to the shopping mall mandela shopping center and main clinics in sandton..

Not a great stay. Would never stay there again. Food was good and chef is friendly.

If you like Beverly Hills

Don't book this without a car. It is 7km from the train station, and while they do have a free shuttle, if you want to go anywhere in Johannesburg, this is very inconvenient. A taxi from the train station to this hotel is expensive, as this is essentially the Beverly Hills of Jozi. So if you want to learn anything about this city, don't stay here. Also, the front reception staff was totally humorless. But this is normal of hotel staff in Joburg, at least from my experience. These things said, the breakfast was excellent.
