Wait staff and room size

Pros: The size of the room, massive, very clean, had every convenience..
Cons: more towels in the room. [more plates, knives, forks and spoons]
Location: Just regular sightseeing, very close to downtown which is not very safe but the hotel did offer to escort me if I wanted to go downtown late at night.
One wait staff was extremely good, outstanding, very friendly, very helpful.. Devon is his name, extremely polite and was a very good waiter, made my breakfast experience very good.

It was an amazing hotel. Never thought that we will get such a suprb facility in Johannesburg. We stayed there for 6 days and it was our best experience ever in any hotel in the world. Even the people serving breakfast were willing to customize their food according to our taste. What a great hotel! Wish such hotels were there in other places too or if I had knowledge of such places when I travel abroad.

A couple of nights in Jozi

Had a couple of issues with shuttle & driver not actually being available even though it had been booked in advance. A bit disappointing but not a major drama The staff were attentive and the food at the in House restaurant "The Marshall" was nice

Amazing stay

It was amazing the rooms are kept very clean & neat The service is quick and the staff is friendly the hotel is located in a safe neighborhood

The hotel staff were amazing and very helpful. The restaurant staff however were rude and service left a lot to be desired, however, I wouldn't let this put me off of returning. I would say if you are in a rush to go anywhere don't expect speedy service in the restaurant!

Never again!

the hotel was fine but my lost IPhone was appropriated and used by an employee. the service had to be shut down due to excessive calls. It is a long story but I know this happened and the hotel did not respond. Unfortunately this occurred the first week of a month-long trip. We were told over and over not to go out in Johannesburg. This made our 5 day stay very long.

Nice hotel in the heart of the city

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Great location in the heart of the city. Friendly and caring staff. This hotel provides free shuttle service within five kilometers. Spacious rooms with kitchen and large size bathroom. However, the shower was horrible.
