Pros: GOOD COMFORTABLE ROOMS , COMPLIMENTARY VALET PARKING, TWO GREAT POOL AREASS , VERY PLEASANT GARDEN ENVIRONMENT IN THE MIDST OF THE SANDTON CONCRETE J
Cons: THE ONLY BAR IN THE HOTEL IS A SMOKE FILLED SMELLY PLACE - IF YOU DON'T WANT TO BE PART OF THIS STINKY PLACE , YOU HAVE TO HAVE A DRINK ON THE TERRACE
Location: VERY CENTRAL
THE HOTEL IS WELL SITUATED , WITH BEAUTIFUL GARDENS, TWO GOOD POOL AREAS . IT IS WELL RUN AND IN GOOD CONDITION

Lovely hotel with lovely staff.

Was a convenient 5 minutes walk from train station and to where I was working, but the lovely character of the hotel and the friendly staff made it a great place to stay. I will be back soon.

Despite it's obvious old age, the surrounding construction the entire experience was very pleasant/charming. The staff was very accommodating friendly and the restaurant was exceptional in all aspects! The shuttle to the large mall and Mendela square was a plus as well. Would definitely stay there again

Lovely hotel in fantastic location

The entrance of the hotel is deceiving. Upon entering you will find the hotel inviting and comfortable. The grounds are beautiful and the rooms are very comfortable. The proximity to the train is ideal. We would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Johannesburg.

Great safe location with restaurants and shopping

Great service. Willing to keep bags after check out to accommodate late plane departure. Amazing restaurant attached to hotel with fabulous service and varied menu. Food was great.

Bad Choice

Whoever designed the bathroom (or lack thereof) in these tiny rooms needs a reality check, ridiculous and totally impractical. The location is what was expected and the staff were generally friendly and helpful but a 15 minute ride on the Gautrain will give you much better options.
