Well located, in the hub of Sandton.

Pros: Facilities, staff, location, price.
Cons: The aircon was loud. It would be better if it was silent.
Location: Sandton City shopping and tourist precinct is a gentle walk from the hotel.
This was an emergency stay, necessitated by my need to be at OR Tambo for a 10am flight. The staff at the Radisson were superb, from beginning to end. The warm welcome at check-in, the friendly porter who took our luggage to our room, the superb restaurant staff who catered to our hunger at 9pm, the helpful porters who directed us to the atm, and most of all, ALL the staff who addressed my five-year old daughter with genuine affection and respect, made this a truly memorable experience. Radisson Blu in Jeddah need to send their staff to Radisson Gautrain to learn how to treat guests and to see what a real international hotel looks like. The facilities more than met our needs. We slept soundly and there were no sounds from the street outside. From now on, Radisson Blu Gautrain Hotel is my hotel of choice when I have to make an early morning flight. This venue comes highly recommended. The staff at this hotel embody South African warmth and are great ambassadors for our country.

Have been staying there for many years now, about 7 nights a year. Hardly comment any more, but this time felt compelled to give some feedback. Arrived past 22hrs, and the check in was great. The kitchen though, was closed, and we could only order room service from the room. It's policy, but we were four, and wanted the option to at least order the room service, but had it served at the bar where we were conversing. Anyway, we went to the room, ordered 2 burgers which after 30 mins arrived looking more like steak tartare than burgers. The team promptly changed, but by the time the second ordered arrived it was past midnight. Lastly, on the second day when we got back to the room, the leftover red wine glasses where each standing by the bedside. Not cool. But won't stop me from going back.

Good Hotel to stay

Pros: Walking distance to Gautrian and Sandton Mall
Cons: I guess you cannot improve the construction noise going on around it.
Good hotel to stay in as it is close to the Gautrian, Sandton City and Mall all within walking distance. The breakfast was outstanding.

Friendly, centrally located

Everyone was extremely friendly, room was clean and nice, although weird transparent bathroom wall. Overall excellent!

Pros: Location and food
The safe was not working and I told the reception twice - but it was not repaired. The Hair Dryer was not working. No fill up of shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. The restaurant and the food is very fine.

Great hotel. It was perfectly located across from the Gautrain train stop which provided seamless access to the international airport at any hour of the day. The staff (mphongoma) helped me organize a last minute, one day safari.

Nice hotel. Centre of Sandton City. Opposite Train

It was surprisingly a nice hotel. Very centrally located opposite the Gautrain Station. Rooms were quite comfortable. Large bed. Nice sheets. Will definitely recommend the hotel and will visit again.
