Avoid if at all possible

Couldn't find my booking for 1 hour. Plug sockets didn't work properly in room. Hotel very noisy, walls paper thin. Forgot to book me a car twice. Staff pocketing money personally for laundry and taxi services... The one redeeming feature was that the restaurant in the same grounds (Ciello) was excellent, great service and great food. That almost made it worth it.

Good day I sincerely apologize for the bad experience you had at The Lakes Hotel. please note that we really value the feedback because it is what makes us grow and fix any problems. Kindly check the below: Couldn't find my booking for 1 hour - We have done some changes in the way we receive our bookings and sending them to reception for easy access by the Front. Plug Sockets didn't work properly in the room - As part of the renovations we have been doing for the past years, our plugs and sockets have also been attended and fixed if not replaced. Hotel very noisy - We book conference groups most of the times hence some of our guests tend not to respect the other guests, but however we have tightened our security to avoid such. forgot to book me a car twice - We are now using our own shuttles, hence it makes it easier for our guests movements because our drivers are in the property from 07:00 am to 23:00hrs. Staff pocketing money personally for laundry and taxi - we have cameras at reception where these transactions are made, hence they are always observed. Once again I sincerely apologize for the uncomfortable stay at our hotel, but we are certain that at this stage we have grown and we are able to control a lot of things.

Never Again

Probably the worst Hotel I have stayed at for a very long time. The price charged does not match the facilities. Generally the Hotel was dirty and service was non existent. WIFI did not work and no two prong plugs to charge devices. Wanted to charge me a deposit to rent one?

Spacious, comfy bed & linend, nice bathroom

It was most pleasant, the food was excellent at the hotel as well as the restaurant, the service was outstanding and will definately be my first choice of accommodation for my next trip. Since the location is perfect for me, the security was comforting and having an iron and ironing board as well as a hairdrier I hope to be able to stay there again.

Relaxing view

Bra och fräscht hotel, med trevlig utsikt. Rummen rena och sängen bekväm. Ligger avsides men ändå nära de stora vägarna, flygplatsen och shopping.
