Disappointing
When we arrived, room had been double booked, they moved other person out, no cleaning done, found medication in the draw. No sweetners available, no drinking glasses in the room. Shower was dirty. Bedside lamp did not work, plug had blown. Photos on website nothing like we landed up getting. Very disappointing.

Pleasant stay
Lovely boutique hotel. Rooms are clean. Ample space to relax and unwind on the hotel grounds. Really appreciated the easy check-in particularly as I made reservations early evening for sameday check-in. Had a bit of a restless sleep on last day as was disturbed by the opening of a faucet from the next room which was unusually loud and the disturbance by early bird guests. This may have been due ot the location of the room. Had a quiet and restful sleep in other rooms allocated. Breakfast could do with a bit of variety as it gets boring after a few days stay. The Chef assistant /waitress could be more friendly and not be so snippy.

Not impressed The room clearly had some damp issues- did not smell pleasant at all. Wifi did not work ( we stayed 4 days so it could have sorted but ?! ) Breakfirst was great but we had to pay 15 rand for coffe ???!!!! On a 4star ....

Nice comfortable private place. Standalone bath tub a nice feature. Two small let downs - wifi in bedrooms weak and not working for some of our stay - apparently due to the rain. Also additional charges for decent coffee at breakfast.

Short overnight business stay
We arrived late at night, which was absolutely no problem for the hotel. Security let us in and raised the Receptionist who quickly checked us in and showed us to our palatial room, which was absolutely huge, very nicely decorated and well appointed. Breakfast the next morning was good, with good, fast service.

Nice bed and breakfast well situated in Bryanston
The staff especially Nolly were so friendly and efficient. From check in to check out was nothing but superb. My wife and I had a great stay and would recommend it to anyone.

Guesthouse Maintenance needed
Unfortunately this guesthouse is in need of much maintenance. Had to move rooms when bath tub drainage pipe pulled lose and there was also water damage on an external wall and mold formed. In the second room unfortunately a similar situation when shower handle pulled off wall. Staff and management friendly and helpful but the quality of rooms not acceptable.

Beautiful Bryanston Mansion
I was in Bryanston for a wedding and stayed at the Wesley with 2 other couples.The location was very convenient and safe (24 hour security)Breakfasts were fantastic and all the staff were very friendly and not imposing at all- we felt like we had the run of the place to ourselves!The rooms were beautifully decorated and huge. We especially enjoyed the quirky honesty bar which provided us with many laughs on the 2 evenings we stayed there. We would have loved to make use of the beautiful pool area, but didn't get a chance to.

Brilliant location - peaceful environment
My husband and I recently stayed at The Wesley in late May 2014. I found Hotels.com had provided my credit card details directly to the hotel where they automatically debited my account prior to my arrival. I note this is not the policy of Hotels.com. The accommodation is a little tired and needs a refresh. The breakfasts are lovely and plentiful. The location is safe and central to Sandton and Bryanston.

The Wesley Hotel/BB was very good
My husband and I took a short trip to South Africa, we stayed at the Wesley hotel/BB while there and had a real good experience. We had to rent a car to get around but that was ok as we were abke to see the local surroundings. The hotel has a very quaint and romantic ambiance.

A hidden gem in Bryanston
Having liver around the corner from this hotel for many years, it was a surprise to find such a gem close by. This is very convenient for visitor overflow and the rooms are very attractivey and comfortably furnished. The gardens and bars are great and it is a superb venue. The only criticism our guest had was that there wa sno business centre as he was travelling without a computer !

The hotel/b&B was not at all what I was expecting while the staff were all very friendly and helpful, I had called ahead of making the booking to see if the rooms had there own entrances which I was told they did. this was not the case on arrival, the carpets of the room were very dirty, there was no soap for the bath nor was it ever mentioned that no showers were available. Bedside table was badly cracked and drawers did not even open. The hairdryer provided could not be used due to the plug type, I was told that all rooms had a desk so that I could work, a narrow dresser does not constitute a desk when you cannot even sit and put your feet under. It was overall very disappointing.

Fantastic B&B
We really enjoyed our stay at The Wesley! The rooms are cute and cozy. The breakfast was delicious and came with a delightful view of the garden/pool. When the surrounding area did not have electricity for a couple days they provided us with candles for the night and then enabled us to stay at their sister hotel without any additional fees until the eletricity was back on. Everything about our stay was fantastic; only opportuity area was that our room did not come with a shower (just a tub) and we did not realize this until we arrived in the room. But, we were moved to a room with a shower once it opened up. All-in-all The Wesley is a great B&B and we recommend it.

A hotel conveniently located AND pet friendly
It was a treat to stay at The Wesley and most of all to be allowed to take my dog along (she is a diabetic and I cannot leave her at home even on business trips). Breakfast was great and the room very comfortable. If I have to make one comment: we would have liked the bath to be a bit more private (as the two people sharing the room were not related ;))

The service was excellent. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. The hotel is immaculately maintained with several amenities including a swimming pool and the rooms were very clean. However, we felt that we did not have any privacy. The outer walls were clear glass and anyone passing by could/would look into our room. Furthermore, there was no partition between the sleeping area and the bathroom, which meant that anyone looking in would have seen us brush, bathe, and shower, if we did not keep the curtains drawn almost all the time. Also, contrary to advertisements there was no A/C, which required us to keep the windows open, which meant mosquitos since there are no screens on the windows or doors. Finally, other than breakfast, there was no meal service. There were no restaurants in the vicinity that we could walk to, provided it was safe [the hotel was behind two gates each with sentries]. We had to order in the food each evening. Overall, it was a disappointment, despite the excellent staff.

Fantastic!
I have a really lovely time at The Wesley. The staff was very pleasant and proffesional. I was impressed by deco and the cleanliness of the place. The convienience of being close to Santon, Fourways malls was also a factor that made our stay great. Would recomend it any day. And yes, I will be going back.

great but....
our stay was fantastic, room was great and lovely, comfortable and cozy, however the room service was disappointing, as we anticipated our breakfast in room....what was delivered was a cold English breakfast with no cutlery for my husband and plate of mini croissant and mini muffin for myself with two pieces of salami for myself.Portion for a two year old...well....lets just say that spoil our stay.
