The room which we stayed in was dark and dingy and we had to use a flashlight in the evening because of insufficient lightening in the room. After complaining they offered another room without addressing the issue. The room has worn and the fittings were out of date. The only redeeming feature was the breakfast which was good.

3 of us stayed for 2 weeks in a 2 bedroom apartment at Waterfalls. The staff are super friendly & provided much guidance. They have a large generator to overcome load shedding... Breakfasts are excellent!

nice dining area and water feature. room was not available on time, with promises of "2 minutes" i waited, making no alternative arrangements for an appointment which i eventually could not honour as the room was made available 40min later.

my experience was good but was disappointed about the amenities as it did not match the description advertised. swimming pool was not available. the room not well equipped and there was additional charge for snacks and water. was expecting more for the price

Bedding had spots on, Soap against the wall, No Hairdryer, NO HOT WATER, Reception was helpfull and moved me to another room, where the Hot water work together with the water of the outside jaquzzi. every time the water for the jaquzzi open the geyser trip, Then the DSTV could not get a signal.

Does not deserve 5 stars
The service was good, but the facilities were a let down. If you stay in 5star accommodation you would expect the basin tap to be fixed to the surface, an unblocked basin drain; there was no space to leave our toiletries in the bathroom; no face cloths and were told they don't have any; and the kettle in the room wasn't working.

LOVE Waterfalls Boutique Hotel!!
An amazing find on Expedia! I can't say enough great things about this hotel. Between the amazing staff, great food and comfortable accommodations, this is THE place to stay if you are looking for a great central location in the Pretoria area.

Great boutique hotel - size doesn't matter!
We used the hotel as a base for visiting family members. It was very conveniently situated close to motorways. Being a very small hotel we received personalised treatment from the very efficient and enthusiastic staff (they printed boarding passes for us). Pretoria clearly has a personal safety issue, but the hotel's access control made us feel safe.

Gem in Pretoria
We booked a room for ourselves and friends on New Years Eve. The Staff and the owner went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. We asked them to set up a dinner to bring in the new year, and keep the bar open. They organized all on short notice and delivered an unforgettable experience ! The rooms are beautiful as well. I recommend without reservation ! The best small hotel we have ever stayed in.

Not what we expected
Room disappointing Only one bedstand with a lamp that went on and off - told the manager! she said " Oh thats a problem in that room Hair dryer did not fit the socket so I coukd not use it. Coffee and tea stand. Only two sachets of coffee I had to ask for more. No fruit or choclates in the room Breakfast fruit, cerals and juices ok. The main breakfast very unpleasant, bacon very salty and over cooked. The whole plate looked unpleasant. We invited two extra guests to join us for the breakfast and I felt really uncomfortable. The manageres was pleasant tried to please.

Great boutique hotel
The hotel is absolutely beautiful. I loved the architecture, the layout, views and the décor. The hotel common areas and rooms were impeccable and comfortable. The service was amazing and the included breakfast was delicious. The only things to consider is that this hotel is very close to a major highway, so you will be hearing cars all throughout the night. Also, the hotel is designed on a slope, so there are MANY steep steps which may make it difficult for some people.

Good place to relax
It was wonderful. Specialy Tobie, Jenin and Nicole and all the staffs were very helpful. Jenin and Nicole will prepare special menu for you. TOBIE is kind of a genoius .... Anybody will like to stay here.

beautiful African decorated large room
Beautiful small hotel with all rooms (large) decorated throughout with African décor. Nice bathroom and breakfast room and a well stocked bar. Very friendly staff. There is also a Jacuzzi available for an additional charge and a swimming pool with secure parking.

Beautiful Hotel with Exceptional Service
The hotel was in great shape, the staff was amazingly nice and accommodating. Anything I needed they were there to help. The only downside is it is really hidden in a neighborhood. It is also high above the highway and the lower level rooms are a bit noisy. Otherwise a great spot. Especially for a couple.
