EXCELLENT staff at JFK Airport Hilton

Pros: Customer service and friendly enthusiastic, genuine attitude of everyone we encountered.
Cons: Gift shop girls.,.... 1 was worse than the other but neither seemed happy to be there. Neither was even close to superb level of all other staff.
Location: Concierge called a cab and we were lucky enough to get an amazing driver named RAJ who gave us a spectacular tour of city.
I have traveled extensively years and wanted to take the time to write this review for JFK Airport Hilton because the staff was so exceptional. I stayed a total of 4 nights this past week and am VERY happy with the treatment I received. With the exception of both gift shop girls, who both appeared to have pulse rates of single digits, with neither being able to muster the enthusiasm for a simple hello or thank you, every other person from the concierge to the front desk to the bell hop, to the courtesy van driver, to the room service people, ALL were truly EXCEPTIONALLY friendly and genuinely seemed eager to please. It is clear that the culture at the JFK Airport Hilton comes from the top and that is one of customer service, and a sincere, friendly attitude, I gladly recommend this hotel to anyone that needs a wonderful place to stay while in NY and will make a point to always choose this hotel for future stays.

Reasonable price for a hotel near the airport. The hotel room is nice but the concierge are not friendly and helpful...

bed was always dirty under the sheets I will not be staying there again the cleanliness is a big thing for me so if there's a tad bit of something as small as the carpet being dirty I do not return

Biggest complaints - pool opens at 3:00?? Lame! A/C is so loud you can't sleep Elevators are dark, sticky floors, and make ear piercing whistle sounds at every floor Tub was clogged, toilet seat broken

There is no direct shuttle to the airport. If you have luggage you need to drag to Air Train to shuttle. This takes an hour or more.

Overall great experience, the front desk rep was not very friendly when we arrived but the check-in procress was fast and painless. The room was great, we visited the pool, my kids loved it, the pool attend was very attentive and friendly.

We stayed here the night we arrived and the night we left NYC for ease by JFK. Hotel restaurant open till midnight gave us great meal after we arrived from west coast. Comfortable beds, clean and quiet. Shuttle was easy and promptly returned to us when we discovered we left something on board.
