Would recommend the hotel to friends

It is a cost effective place.
However the reception service needs to be friendly, courteous. They should be able to provide some guidelines about the surrounding areas - e.g. in case of emergency they should know pharmacy, electric shop, shopping area etc. Even after asking repetedly for help and directions, the response was luke warm.
Given the location and the tourist a little more English ability will do.
