It was okay
The stay was fine, though I probably wouldn't stay here again. The bedroom itself was nice and taken care of, but the bathroom was TINY. You could barely shut the door when you brush your teeth. Also, you're not allowed to eat in the room. Not a huge problem, since you'd probably be out and about, but I have never heard of such a rule for a hotel room. Also, check in is at 2pm and not a minute sooner! Front desk is not there 24/7, which is what I expected. Overall, the stay was fine but felt more like I was staying at someone's house than at a hotel.

Yesssssss ! The HôtelCecil***/Juan-les-Pins is rather an hotel of the type «Boutique Hôtel» installed in an old building built in 1890. Our particularity is actually to try to be close to our customers, to weave a link with them, you ... unlike hotel chains. All our rooms are unique, not one is the same. Establishments classified 3 stars in France, must offer a reception service open 12h / 24h. Concerning us, we are open from 8:00AM to 9:00PM. That's why we take an hour of lunch break from time to time: you had to arrive on these exceptional days! The check-in of the HôtelCecil***/Juan-les-Pins is from 14:30PM and not 14:00PM as you say but most of our guests arrive earlier, leave their luggages in the lobby, enjoy our room courtesy baths and come back later to access their room. When booking a hotel on online booking sites, be aware of booking conditions and facilities that are different for each establishment. Do not eat in your hotel room is quite common also in hotels in France and as for most hotels on Juan-les-Pins… The main thing about all this is that you had a pleasant stay! Regards, Delphine

Hotel Cecil is well located.It`s several minutes walk only from the beachfront and beach clubs.The street is small & quiet.Restaurants,bars,bakeries,supermarkets & other services are all nearby. Antibes which features the Picasso Museum is several minutes away by train & Antibes also has several beaches,an atmospheric OLD TOWN and market. There is also a casino nearby and some great villas.Art Deco style.

Property was charming with a nice garden terrace (if you choose to have breakfast and the weather is nice this is where you'll be!), renovated rooms, elevator! The owners are lovely, always with a smile, and provide guests with information on the area. Un-renovated rooms are small but nice, the renovated rooms are more spacious (we stayed in both types). Definitely will come back again! Merci!

I only stayed one night, I already knew the neighbourhood. Hotel was okay for only one night stay, room not very comfortable, for sure would not choose this hotel for a long stay or vacations. Only for a few days it was not very expensive and met my needs.

Peacful hotel with tiny bathroom.
I stayed here while I was attending Cannes Film Festival and I have to say it's a very clean hotel, close to the station but still far enough to be peaceful. It is a very peaceful hotel and staff are very nice and polite. This is a nice place if you want to hit the beach or the festival. The only negative is that the room didn't look the photos. The bathroom was tiny - literally a toilet and small shower cubicle with no floor space..It's basically a cupboard. The air conditioning is weak but was needed. Toilet broke but was fixed promptly. For the single person it's great but the room I was in is not really suitable for a couple. But saying all that I did enjoy my stay there and I do recommend the hotel.

Many rooms changed since your arrival. We have just got a third star ... We have almost renovated all our rooms with lots of colors and new equipment: bedding, bathroom, flat screen TV and mini fridge ... Come back to see us, you will not be disappointed! Attention, however, we always have 4 double rooms Economic, refreshed but not renovated.

Great local hotel for a good price
The couple who ran the Hotel are very friendly and kind. The premises was well cleaned and taken care of. You can tell that they are good at being hosts as well as small business owners. The location is key! For a low price, you get 1 minute walk to the sea. Cafes, shops, and grocery stores are all very convenient as well. To my surprise, the internet was even good! I usually don't expect that kind of wifi service from local hotels. When it comes to the actual rooms, what they advertise is what you get -- no negative or positive surprises. I would revisit this hotel on my next stay in Juan-les-Pins.

Highly recommended!
A great little hotel only a couple of blocks from one of the best beaches on the Cote d'Azur (Juan-les-Pins) and only a block away from the train station. Very nice and helpful staff with very reasonable prices. Hotel has a perfect shaded courtyard in the front for enjoying coffee or your breakfast in the comfortable weather. Highly recommended.

small quite hotel on the French Riviera
The Hotel Cecil is a very nice inexpensive hotel in Juan Les Pains, just 2 blocks from the beach. I was very happy and luck to get a room at the last minute( the night before in the second week of August), booking online thru Hotels.com. The room was a little small, but very clean. Bed was very Firm, there was no air conditioning.

Economical hotel, located in a cute neighborhood. Only problem I had is that my American credit card was not able to be read by their machine, so I had to go to withdraw from a nearby local bank. The staff was very friendly!

Kleines Hotel mit Charme
Unser Familienurlaub an der Côte d'Azur war einfach traumhaft schön. Das Hôtel Cecil ist ein einfaches, aber gut eingerichtetes Hotel in Juan les Pins. Die Besitzerin Delphine hat mit viel Liebe zum Detail das Hotel sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Wir hatten im Zimmer genug Platz, auch wenn wir zu dritt es benutzten. Das Bad ist hingegen etwas schmal. Das w-lan ist etwas schwach - wir hatten das hinterste Zimmer im obersten Stock. Das Frühstück bekommt man gegen eine Gebühr von 10€uro. Das Hotel ist gut gelegen. In wenigen Gehminuten ist man am Bahnhof von Juan les Pins und ebenso ist das Zentrum mit vielen Lokalen und Geschäften zu erreichen.

SOGGIORNO MERAVIGLIOSO
Piccolo "boutique hotel", nel pieno centro di Juan Les Pins in zona strategica anche per i ristoranti non propriamente da turisti. Le camere sono tutte arredate con maestria e indiscutibile gusto, ma ognuna con un colore predominante ed un arredamento di design. La titolare ci ha dato un sacco di consigli per passeggiate e cenette. Un vero bijou dove torneremo senz'altro.

centralissimo hotel con personale che parla italiano. terrazzino e giardinetto esterni e molta cura del dettaglio.camera economy essenziale ma completa di tutto. possibilità di deposito bagagli e utilizzo di bagno con doccia anche dopo il ceck out, cosa molto gradita prima di mettersi in viaggio dopo una giornata di mare.

Accueil très sympathique. J'avais réservé une chambre économique mais la responsable ma conseillée une chambre rénovée pour un petit supplément. Petit déjeuner de qualité avec des fruits qui peut être pris sur la terrasse extérieure. La chambre et sd bain sont agréables. Le seul bémol c'était le lit qui semble être ancien. (Très mou)

Vi overnattede 15 dage på hotellet. Hyggeligt hotel med god hjælp i receptionen til gode restauranter og seværdigheder.Fik først et lille værelse, men efter reklamation blev vi flyttet til dejlig størrelse værelse på 3. sal. Dejligt ophold. Fredelig beliggenhed med tæt afstand til restauranter og ok tæt på badestrand. 2 stjernet hotel, men rigtig pænt og rent og de fleste værelser nyrenoverede

Замечательный простой отельчик! Завтрак только несколько простоват за доплату в 9 евро, много сладкого, но завтракать можно в другом месте хотя бы иногда. По цене -- можно найти отели подешевле, но если вы хотите поближе к морю или к нужным объектам (нам нужен был конгресс-центр), то он хорошо подойдет. Очень милый персонал, кстати.

Demasiado caro para lo que ofrece, necesita mucha renovación y mejorar la atención y limpieza. El entorno es muy feo con muchos hoteles alrededor abandonados. La zona nos venía bien para movernos, pero no es nada recomendable.

Desde la adquisición del hotel, nos esforzamos invierno tras invierno para renovarlo. Todavía una planta entera para volver a organizar. Estas habitaciones se describen como «económicas» son muy asequibles para Juan-les-Pins. Ciertamente están anticuadas, pero nos esforzamos todos los días que sean lo más limpio posible. En cuanto a la vecindad, no controlamos las ventas, reembolsos y las transacciones inmobiliarias incluso menos real en la ciudad! Atentamente, Delphine

Great service, good standard and excellent location close to the beach, restaurants and shopping. It is a mystery that the hotel only has two stars. Have stayed at many three and four star hotels that have been worse. Great value for money!

Huippu hotelli hyvällä sijainnilla
Loistava pieni hotelli, missä palvelu toimi. Oikein tyylikkäät ja siistit huoneet. Omistajan mukaan halvemmat huoneet ovat vielä remontoimatta, mutta "paremmat" huoneet missä majoituimme olivat käytännössä uusia. Suosittelen kaikille. Paljon yli 2 tähteä!

Mysigt hotell med trevlig personal
Bodde i dom renoverade rummen. Jätte fint rum. Super trevlig och hjälpsamm personal. Nära till strand, restauranger, tågstation mm Jättefin strand

hôtel plein de charme
Les gens sont très accueillants, toujours souriants. L'hôtel est d'une propreté parfaite(mon premier critère), et a beaucoup de charme. J'ai particulièrement aimé le petit déjeuner sur la terrasse...

Good location, newly renovated rooms, small and cozy family owned hotel, owner very friendly and helpfull. Warmly recomended.
