Fantastic experience at Novotel Juhu!

We had a fantastic weeks stay at Novotel Juhu to celebrate our wedding anniversary. It was really lovely to walk in to the room to see flowers and a chocolate cake waiting for us not to to forget the gorgeous sea view room which we were not expecting! The room itself was comfortable and very clean as per UK standards. It was nice to go back to the room after a long tiring day out. The view from the pool overlooks Juhu Beach & it is truly spectacular watching the sunset in the evening. We would have loved to have tea/coffee making facilities in the room as standard rather than having to order from the restaurant. That’s the only thing we missed having! Overall we had a great stay & will definitely be back very soon. Thank you to all! (PS the chocolate cake was so delicious!)

only given one room key, not fun when their are two guests and one key is needed to keep electricity on in the room.. only given second key for electricity on second night .. gym was nice facing the ocean. Didn’t seem like pool was being used by anyone.. requested ID from every guest in the room.. never had to submit in US or Canada.. usually one ID sufficient who ever name room is under.. umm not the best but it’s okay if u wanna see the “dirty beach” and be away from crowds..

Great Hotel let down by housekeeping

Pros: The breakfast buffet. Great selection of food. To give some credit to the staff, they are friendly and the reception staff were good to deal with.
Cons: HOUSEKEEPING..... When you pay a premium to stay in a hotel, you expect the service.
I stayed at the hotel for 4 days with my wife and two kids. From the outset as soon as we walked into the apparently "non smoking" room, there was a stale smell of cigarette. After a long journey, the first thing we needed to do was shower the kids, but the bathroom was not cleaned, and there was urine stains all over the toilet seat. Went to call room service only find out the phone is not working and so had to go to the lobby to rectify the phone, clean the bathroom, request additional towels and a cot for my 1yr old. To complete this, it took 90mins after constant requests. Over the next 3 days, housekeeping failed to replace towels, clean the floors, satisfactorily clean the bathroom or even replace the hotel toiletries without my persistence. This is not what is expected from a hotel with the "Novotel" name on its building. The breakfast room staff were also slow to service us and provide seating everyday so much so that we had to seat ourselves, but this improved greatly on the final day where they assisted us from the moment we walked in to when we finished our breakfast.

Excellent hotel, on the beach, good transportation

Excellent all round stay. Best in the area. Staff are helpful, welcoming always smiling . Excellent food, drink. Cater for all tastes including various festivals. Excellent lhotel facilities including heavenly massage centre, conference facilities, wedding hall & catering, swimming pool, bar, cafe, Chinese restaurant.

I like the location at Juhu beach

Overall it was pretty good, but the hotel needs some investment to raise the standard. It looks and feels somewhat worn out. In our meeting room, the walls were marked up and the staff didn't plan the switch over to our event very smoothly. It was highly rushed and stressful to change the setup from table and chairs to theatre style, all while we had attendees waiting in the hallway. I will likely look elsewhere on my next visit.

Terrible Hotel - falling apart, terrible service.

Pros: Checking-out.
Cons: Condition of the hotel and staff.
This hotel is falling apart with hacked together repairs. The first room I had was leaking from the ceiling, down behind the mirror, across the counter onto the floor then across the hotel room. They tried to tell me that I was splashing when washing my hands! Ridiculous. When II pointed out the water coming from the ceiling, they left and I did not hear from them again. I had to call the front desk and demand another room. Good luck getting served in the restaurant - I ended up leaving because nobody came by. This hotel does not live up to the Novotel name in the slightest. Prices for food/drinks are completely out of control - it is less expensive in a US hotel for food and drinks than this hotel (so comparing apples to apples). The staff in no way go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Don't make the mistake that I did choosing this hotel.
