Our Butler was superb - outdoor areas are paradise

We have stayed here many times. The new pool area behind is a paradise for sunbathing. All staff are friendly and genuine, everyone tries to make the holiday outstanding. The Gentleman on the doors deserve a medal organising cars and buggies. Our Butler this time was truly, outstanding, from the time we arrived Aldrin made it his job to make sure we wanted for nothing. He was professional, warm and totally organised, we were glad to see him arrive everyday. The Burj offers everything you wish for on holiday, superb suites, amenities, indoor pools , outdoor pools , bars. One small negative - breakfast is buffet style and was hectic as the Grand Prix was on,often food was cold by the time we got it back to the table - it was the first time in 13 years we have experienced this but the race made it busy mornings. Outside ,There are ample sun beds and outdoor sofa areas available , even in peak periods with privacy - again excellent service at the pool bar - there is an outside bar area with spectacular views at night to relax in , it is truly beautiful - again perfect service with a smile from everyone - an abundance of white towels provided - we went to the pool and by the time we returned our beds and towels had been renewed , this could happen 3 times a day and is such a nice gesture as you never lie on damp towels - these are the tiny things throughout that make this hotel 7 stars, along with Hermes toiletries in suites which are renewed constantly, everything perfect.

Disastrous check in

The check in experience was a disaster. It took me 1 hour to check in as the hotel could not find my booking. After 15 mins, I reached out to the staff to see if anything I can do to help. I proposed we could call hotels.com to help. The staff did not accept my suggestion and asked me to sit and wait. Another 15 minutes passed and they were serving some other customers. Then they reached out to me and asked me to call hotels.com myself. Then hotels.com representative was very helpful. He called the reservation department directly so the hotel arranged a room for me. As I understood from hotels.com, it is the hotel's technical problem that it missed my booking. I told the hotel concierge I was late for the afternoon tea due to this issue and he told me he could cancel it for me. I was shocked that he gave me such a solution. Another concierge guy said he needed to go for lunch, so they left me there to handle the issue alone. Luckily there was a lady at reception area who helped me set up the room and also sent me to the restaurant. Overall, I was very disappointed as they did not even offer an apology, not even mention compensation. This is a well-known 7star hotel so I was very excited when I was on the way there, and I still could not believe what has happened.

Location and amenities are great!

Welcomed with great staff ! Our butler and front desk assistance was great in assisting all of our accommodations! The service overall was great. Only downside was the dinner service on the 27th floor. We received better service at the bar than dinner. The wait was way too long for a supposed steak dinner plus obtaining the check was an additional 20 minutes.

Uber good

Excellent hotel with complimentary water park admission which was great for the kids. Pool area uber cool and modern. Restaurant very reasonable but buffet pricey but worth it. Other sister hotel close by (Jumeirah Beach) also good to explore for alternative dinning etc

Over The Top Experience

Amazing large opulent room with 180 degree view, service was first class from all members of the staff and the building itself is clearly one of a kind. Every serious traveller should stay here at least once.

The hotel is very luxury and clean! The staffs there are so friendly and helpful! They are the best! They told us a lot to learn about this hotel. When our boy need help, they come right way.
