Staffs not professional compared with other 5*

Posted Dec 14, 2017
Used to be very nice but not any more from my recent 2 stays. Staffs not professional ot knowledgeable to handle situations compared with other 5* hotels. Rooms are out dated. There are several other 5* hotels in Seoul downtown might he better than this one for a similar price.

Good location for accessing train station

Cons: Would like to see a snack shop somewhere in the hotel.
Also good location for walking to the North Seoul Tower

Nice centrally located hotel

Posted Oct 7, 2017
Pros: location
Cons: don't charge for using the business centre computers
Location: Seoul Station is convenient.
This hotel is a steep uphill walk from Seoul Station, but otherwise in a good location. Our comfortable room had a nice view of Mt.Namsam. I found the buffet restaurant in the hotel exorbitantly expensive and ate there only once for breakfast when we had an early tour departure. There are small inexpensive restaurants and convenience stores everywhere in Seoul. We were told that there was a charge to use the computers in the business centre (even though I have Hilton Honors membership) so we bypassed this by using them when the lady wasn't there. The War Memorial of Korea is a less than 30 minute walk south of the hotel and is a museum well worth visiting. We enjoyed using a one day ticket on the Seoul City Tour Bus which allowed us to hop on and hop off on a circuit around the city.

Great hotel in a great location.

This hotel is the best Hilton property to stay at in Seoul, as it is centrally located and has many amenities. I have always had a great experience here and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a premium Hilton property in Seoul.

Anniversary stay, could have been better!

Posted Aug 16, 2017 on Hotels
I booked my wife and I into the Millennium Seoul Hilton for our anniversary weekend, as I was certain that it was the best possible hotel in Seoul. I chose a room with a hotel view, and I was extremely excited to surprise my wife with sheer luxury. Imagine my disappointment when the room was on a par with a decent love motel. The room was pretty small and nothing special - no fresh flowers, interesting decor, or striking design. The king size bed was two twins pushed together, which I realise is standard practice but I would have expected a lot more from a five star hotel! There wasn't even turn down service. However, the view of Namsan Park was great, and my wife really loved that! The bathroom wasn't even as nice as a love motel bathroom - a small standard tub, with a shower in it. The supplied toiletries were standard. We found a quarter cookie and someone's old hairpin in our room - not very romantic. The breakfast buffet is nice enough. We enjoyed the outside deck, which has lovely views over a garden. Breakfast is from 6am to 10am, which is unfortunate. Which brings me to room service, which is a laugh. The rooms here are not cheap, but the room service menu and breakfast in bed option is priced for people who have yet to buy a coffee in Seoul. ₩18000 for a small cup of filter coffee? I am happy to pay for quality, but my wife and I worked out that, according to the room service menu, our breakfast buffet would have cost about ₩160,000 if we ordered it.

Gracious, comfortable, welcoming

Posted Jul 21, 2017
Service was impeccable. Made us feel welcome from the moment we steeped in and even let us check in very early and check out late. Friendly staff, remembered us each time we saw them. Courteous and efficient. View of Namsan was spectacular.
