Good atmosphere, minor issues

everything was good, nice staff and clean, the only problems were that we were given the wrong room twice and had to keep waiting in line at the lobby, delaying us from dinner plans. secondly, the main lights over the vanity/sink were unreliable, turning off and on at random times, not working at times.

They are updating there motel at this time wish I had know this not worth what they are charging for the room it’s no better than a motel 8 which is outdated

Old property with new paint and plumbing. Breakfast poor. Not particularly clean.

Great hotel

I have stayed there a lot because my sister comes from Illinois to spend her winters there. Never had a bad experience. Staff is great. Breakfasts are great. No complaints.

Great stay

Pros: We have stayed at this hotel before and we always like it.
Location: we selected this hotel because it was close to the scuba diving charters.
The renovations sure made this hotel brand new. The bed was just fine. Loved the faucet in the sink. Color scheme was really nice.

Hotel Problems

I have stayed at this hotel a number of times and this is the first time I have to rate it this poorly. I will not be staying at it again. Their renovations are going in the wrong direction. Construction has been on0going for the last couple of years but this year that construction directly affected my stay: Noise was constant; the elevators were being used by the workers; the gym was closed due to construction. Although esthetically the renovations are improvements, the lobby looks great, the room no longer accommodates my needs.. The hotel is in a beach town but only has one place, a hook on the wall to hang wet stuff (there isn't even a hanger on the bathroom door). They also removed the desk from the hotel room. When I travel I work on a computer and have no interest in doing this work on a bed. It is bad for my back and neck (my neck is sore after a trip that was meant to relax me) and slows down my work effort. The new lighting in the room is very dark and does not light the areas one would be working effectively. This was my most disappointing stay in the Juno/Jupiter area since I moved from there in 2011 and it was because the room did not accommodate my needs.

They accept dogs

The motel was going thru some renovations and boy does it need it. Our room had cold wood floors that had gaps in it, there was no hot water at the sink and the shower was falling apart. The beds were comfortable but the bedding was worn out. The worst part was it was more expensive than nicer ones down the road but THEY ACCEPT DOGS AND I HAVE ONE and no one else does so THANK YOU LaQuinta.

Under construction nice night staff

The hotel is under construction ‘during the day.’ The night time staff was GREAT!!! Super nice and really helpful, especially Tracy who is the BEST!! The one woman who worked in the morning was incredibly rude and when my boyfriend tried to tell her about a problem we were having she just said ‘no’ super frustrating. The hotel in general was super nice and the bed was comfortable.

Deceptive Booking Practices by Expedia

When I booked my seven-day stay at La Quinta Inn in Jupiter, Fla., on Expedia, you failed to inform me that the motel was currently under renovation. Every morning my husband and I were awakened by hammering, power drilling and other loud noises that continued throughout the day, even on Sunday! There was only one small elevator which we often had to share with construction workers and their equipment. On two separate nights the water supply was cut off for four hours. We feel strongly that it was deceptive that you, Expedia, did not inform us of the renovation. We were informed by the motel manager that she had informed Expedia of the situation more than once. I do not plan to use Expedia again.
