Great Hawaiian style hotel but with contemporary modern rooms. We had a great view of the ocean from our balcony having been upgraded six floors up from our original room. Every member of staff, on all levels, were welcoming and very helpful. It was our fourth visit and we will definitely be back.

The Hotel is pretty basic and from our room(1517) we had a view of the staircase :( but there were other rooms on the other side of the building with a lovely garden view. Maybe request that side when booking. The building was old but I quiet liked the retro feel. Best of all was location! Steps away from the beach, and the beach is beautiful. We saw a massive turtle and there is a snorkelling area nearby.

Visitors also can experience the area’s farming past by riding the Sugar Cane Train, a restored steam locomotive. Snorkelers and divers can enjoy the coral reefs and fish that thrive in nearby Black Rock Beach.
