All you need is here!

Pros: The wind, the rooms, the food, the animals and there was nothing not to like.
Cons: Spa staff needs to be more welcoming and be able to understand the conversation . One front desk associate needed more grooming in her hospitality.
Amazing......We ended with an Oceanfront Suite but originally booked the Dolphin lagoon room....If we had to choose again we would choose a lagoon room closest to the tall tower, you then get a view of ocean and dolphins. Some experience also tells me these rooms often times have two double beds be warned, make sure its what you want. These rooms are very beautiful but are more worn in the bathroom area but still beautiful. The housekeeping staff has such a way about them, they are sincere and kind and genuinely care about your room and what is in it. I loved our room....Room 613 from morning till night we watched the ocean and below the dolphins...peaceful beyond belief. We want to thank Rainui!!!! Food is great in all places...Italian restaurant is a must. The Risotto is served in a huge wheel of parmesan and scooped out tableside. At the Plumeria restaurant their buffet is stellar and has real honeycomb dripping for your waffles or yogurt.

The best place to stay on Oahu.

Posted Sep 13, 2017
Pros: I love Kahala's secluded location, yet your a 7 minute drive from Waikiki. Food is superb in all of Kahala's 5 restaurant's with 2 open to the ocean.
I wouldn't stay anywhere else. What realy made my trip was the sailig on the Holokino, a hawaiian canoe with 2 pontoons and a sail at The Kahala.

We enjoyed our stay I highly recommend renting a car so you could experience the whole island. The concierge was very informative and friendly.

Aloha, Dee. We appreciate your comments. Many guests stay at The Kahala and never leave, but there is fantastic sightseeing, hiking and other activities - and The Kahala is a perfect starting point. We have a rental car service on site and guests can rent for just the day or multiple days if they choose.

Perfect

Posted Aug 27, 2017
Pros: The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff; the perfect service from everyone involved; the ambiance. Everything!
Location: Just about everything is pretty much "nearby" on Oahu. We visited Pearl Harbor, the Dole Plantation, climbed Diamondhead, etc.
After 12 hours of flying from Virginia, we were warmly welcomed at the Reception Desk by Gina, who promptly offered us cold washcloths scented with peppermint to start out what became a fabulous visit. The staff is unbelievably helpful, friendly, and kind - offering suggestions about less "touristy" restaurants and things to see. We did, however, dine at the Plumeria and Arancino's, both great foodie experiences. The room was beyond comfortable. We chose a mountain view, and it was a great choice - overlooking the golf course and the neighborhoods on the hill; this was fantastically beautiful, especially at night. Hawaii is breathtakingly gorgeous, and the Kahala perectly captures its beauty. The neighborhood location of the Kahala keeps it quiet and calm, and gives one a chance to check out the gorgeous homes which surround the hotel. We will be back!

Aloha, Donna. So glad you mentioned Hawaii at night - the stars, sky and even the sea often 'light up' in a unique way. Much Mahalo for sharing.
